Daniel Brent Cannon, 70, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016, at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on May 27, 1946, to the late James "Dude" Cannon and Elmira Cox Cannon. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, worked in manufacturing where he made wall heaters, enjoyed writing to Mitch McConnell and watching Wheel of Fortune. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Anna Louise Lawrence.

Mr. Cannon is survived by his wife of 45 years Sue Cochran Cannon; one brother Gary Cannon; one sister Callie Dockery (Harlan) all of Morgantown.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Monday, November 21st at 1 pm.

Burial will follow in the New Liberty Cemetery with Military Honors being presented by AM Vets Post #117.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5-8 pm, Monday, 8am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown, Ky.
