William Paul "Bill" Green
William Paul "Bill" Green, 69 of Winchester, KY formerly of Morgantown, KY passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at Baptist Health Lexington in Lexington, Kentucky. Bill was born December 15, 1946, in Greenville, Kentucky to the late William L. "Bill Louis" Green and Carmen Dotson Geib. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Winchester, KY, Cassia Lodge #272 and was retired from Wickes Lumber Company and K & I Lumber. Bill loved God, family, fishing and UK Basketball. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Karen Sue Green.
Bill is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sharon Meador Green of Winchester, Ky.; one daughter, Shirley Williams (Tim) of Waxhaw, NC; one son, Paul Green of Winchester, KY; three granddaughters, Rachel Vaught of Winchester, KY, Jordan Williams of Waxhaw, NC and Leslie Williams of Louisville, KY; two grandsons Scotti Williams (Jess) of LeRoy, OH and Airman 1st class Dylan Williams of McGuire Air Force Base in NJ; two great-grandchildren, Paisley Williams and Madeline McCollister both of LeRoy, OH; step-mother Kay Green of Louisville, KY; sisters, Judith Green of Evansville, IN, Kathy Johnson (Brad) of Silver Bay, MN, Cheri Hill of Nashville, TN and Angela Kalyan (Jay) of Washington DC; one brother Edward Green (Kelly) of Louisville, KY; brother in law Dennis Meador (Yetta) of Bowling Green, KY; sister in law Lisa Henderson (Paul) of Morgantown, KY and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Jones Funeral Chapel, Monday, November 21, 2016, at 12:00 pm with Bro. Art Beasley officiating.
Burial will be in the Aberdeen Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2016, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm with Masonic services conducted by Cassia Lodge #272 at 6:30 pm and Monday 10:00 am until time of service.
