Charlie Lee Gill
Charlie Lee Gill, 83 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Friday, March 24, 2017, at his residence. He was born February 13, 1934, in Butler County Kentucky to the late Willie B. and Polly Peay Gill and husband of the late Mary Lou Webster Gill. Charlie was a member of Nelson Creek Pentecostal Church and a retired business owner with his brothers of Gill Brothers Logging. After retirement, he enjoyed meeting everyone that visited his South Hill "Walmart." Charlie loved all people and all the people who really knew him loved him in return. Other than his parents and wife he is preceded in death by one brother Dale Gill, sister in law Sue Gill; one great-grandson Preston Cole Parker, and half brother Everett Gill.
Charlie Lee Gill is survived by three daughters Carolyn Williams (Roger), Linda Hawkins (Ray) and Rita Gill all of Morgantown, Ky.; two sons Greg Gill (Brenda) and Patrick Gill (Amy) all of Morgantown, Ky.; 11 grandchildren Natosha Parrish (Robert), Derek Hawkins (Sondra), Jeremy Hawkins (Regina), Amanda Hatcher (Eric), Melinda Keown (Jeremy), April Parker (Robert), Rachael Graham (Steve), Daniel Nation, Heather Dulsky (Randy), Matthew and Andrew Gill; great grandchildren Ian, Hallie, Brayden and Isiah Parrish, Emily and Jenna Hawkins, Alexis Crump (Michael), Drew and Annabella Hatcher, Savannah and Shayla Keown, Cassidy and Vayda Parker, Kierra Neighbors, Kaleigh Proctor, Addy and Parker Nation and Zayden Dulsky; step-mother Bernice Gill of Morgantown, Ky.; two brothers Georgie Gill (Gracie) of Morgantown, Ky., Harold Gill (Alice) of Morgantown, Ky.; one sister Sue Stockton (Bill) of Huntsville, Ky.;step great grandchildren April Holmin, Marcus Mathews, Heather Daugherty, Katie, Kasidy and Blake Graham; five half brothers and sisters Carmen Gill, Marilyn Gill, Patricia Johnson, Kathy Whitaker and Phyllis Drake and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Monday, March 27, 2017, at 1:00 pm with Bro. Paul Uzzle Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in the Webster Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2017, from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Monday 8:00 am until funeral time at 1:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Please share any photos, memories, condolences or light a candle in memory of Charlie at www.jonesfuneralchapel.com
