Kathy Lynn King, 53, of Morgantown, KY passed away Friday, November 13, 2015 at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis MN. Kathy was born on July 14, 1962 in Franklin, KY to the late Howard and Clarine Jackson and was wife of the late Jarry C. King.

Charles Ray Merideth, 72, of Roundhill passed away at 2:45 PM Nov. 14, 2015 at his home.
 
The Jefferson County native was a farmer, coal miner, US Army Corps of Engineers employee, US Army veteran and a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Charlie Riley Merideth and Hannah Eileen Carroll Merideth.
 
Funeral will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Cub Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Monday, 9 AM-8 PM Tuesday and after 9 AM Wednesday.
 

Terry Lynn Jared Sr., 62, of  Beaver Dam, Ky. passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 at the Ohio County Hospital.  He was born on July 12, 1953 in Beech Grove, IN. to the late William Jared and Wilma Ragland Jared who survives. Terry enjoyed woodworking, making canes, photography and was very artistic. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one grandchild, Spencer Jared.

Janet Sue Warren, 55 of Beaver Dam passed away Friday, November 13, 2015 at her home. She was born July 17, 1960 in Elizabethtown to Leonard and Betty Geary Schroader.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Terry Lynn Schroader.

Clifford J. Crain, 74, of Caneyville, passed away Monday, November 16th, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. 

He was born on Monday, December 30th, 1940 in Grayson County, the son of Joe and Doris (Embry) Crain. Clifford was a retired commercial truck driver. He was also a member of the Caneyville Masonic Lodge 635.

Randel C. Dockery , 78, of  Morgantown, Ky. passed away Friday, November 13, 2015 at the Hopkins Nursing Center of Bowling Green.  He was born on May 19, 1937 in Butler County, Ky. to the late Esthy and Mamie Jones Dockery. Randel was a carpenter and enjoyed hunting, fishing and antiques. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Stella Mae Dockery, brother Otis Dockery, Sisters Dorothy Embry and Myerl Kessinger.

Helen Proctor Drake, 89, of Owensboro, Kentucky died Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Signature Healthcare at Hillcrest. She was born July 17, 1926 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Edward and Cordie Proctor. Helen was a devoted member of Crosspointe Baptist Church, and a member of the Eastern Star, Stanley Chapter 252. She was the owner and operator of Helen's Beauty Shop for more than 25 years. She was preceded in death by nine siblings.

Sylvia Lacefield Kessinger, 95 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Tuesday November 10, 2015 at the Cal Turner Nursing Home in Scottsville, Ky. Sylvia was born August 22, 1920 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Houston Lacefield and Rosetta Bryant Lacefield Veteto and wife of the late Odie Kessinger. She was a member of Chapel Union Missionary Baptist Church, a housewife and a babysitter from 1971- 2004 to more than 30 children.

Ann Catherine "Cathy" Cook, 72 of  Morgantown, Ky., passed away Friday, November 6, 2015 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky, Bowling Green, Ky.  She was born in Louisville, Ky. on September 19, 1943 to Joseph Harold and Martha Louise Burch Kelley.  Ms. Cook  was a Secretary for Middle Kentucky Construction and attended Aberdeen Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Thomas Cook.

Mary Louise Sweatt Evans , 81, of  Morgantown, Ky. passed away Wednesday, November 4,  2015 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.  She was born in Logan Co. on Feb. 16, 1934 to the late John and Vonia Cain Sweatt.   She was retired from the health care profession and was a Kentucky Colonel, a member of Mt.
