Alice Faye Baker, 77, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on December 11, 1940 to the late Casey Johnson and Ruby Mae Painter Johnson. Ms. Baker retired from Kane Manufacturing Co. She was a member of Sandy Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She loved UK basketball, cooking, gardening, listening to the news on WLBQ, reading, volunteering at the Morgantown Mission and spending time with grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Carl Johnson.

Ms Baker is survived by a son Stephen Lee Baker (Elizabeth) of Clarksville, In. Four grandchildren; Danielle Spencer (Brian) of Lexington, Ky., Nathan Baker of Central City, Ky., Justin Porter of Beaver Dam, Ky., Beth Porter (Tyler) of Bowling Green, Ky. Two great grandchildren; Acey & Cloey Spencer of Lexington, Ky., Two brothers; David Johnson of Topeka Ks., Bobbie Dale Johnson (Linda) of Morgantown, Ky. Two sisters; Nina Mae West of Morgantown, Iris Gail Barks of Morgantown, Ky. Several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017 at 2pm with Bro. Harold West officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 18, 2017 from 5pm-8pm and Tuesday 8am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown, Ky. Burial in the Sandy Creek Cemetery.
