Cleatus Lee Johnson, 54 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Friday, December 8, 2017, at his residence. Cleatus was born November 1, 1963, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Etta Mae Horton Newton and N.W. Johnson who survives. He was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church. Other than his mother he is preceded in death by one sister Rita Newton and step father, Jimmy Newton.

Cleatus Lee Johnson is survived by his companion Patricia Johnson of Morgantown, KY.; two daughters Lottie Jones and husband Timmy of Tompkinsville, KY and Natasha Johnson of Morgantown, KY; one son Casey Sowders of Brownsville, KY; 9 grandchildren; parents N.W. & Rosa Johnson of Morgantown, KY; one step daughter Ashley Shepherd of Breckinridge Co. KY; 2 step grandchildren; five brothers and sisters Terry Johnson and wife Linda of Morgantown, KY, Cheryl Burden and husband Donnie of Morgantown, KY, Eurana Horton of Louisville, KY, Andy Johnson and wife Dee of Morgantown, KY and Wayne Newton of Louisville, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Monday, December 11, 2017, at 12:00 pm with Bro. Rodney Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Minton Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2017, from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Monday 8:00 am until funeral time at 12:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
