Glenda Eleanor Alvey, age 76, of Elizabethtown, KY passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital. 

She was born on December 17, 1939 in Grayson County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Clarence and Hazel Langley Corley. She was a housewife and member of Chapel Union Church.

Beverly Jean Burden, 67, of Beaver Dam died Friday, June 3, 2016, at her home. She was born in Owensboro to the late Joseph and Lois Katheryn Tudor Dennison. Beverly retired from Home Health in Hartford and enjoyed attending Centertown Holiness Church. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Eraina Estes.

Wanda June Carr Ferguson

Wanda June Carr Ferguson, age 85, of Millwood, KY, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center. 

She was born on June 30, 1930 in Foster, KY the daughter of the late Charles and Garnette Colbin Carr. She was a member of the Antioch Church of Christ. She was a housewife, mother and a homemaker who raised seven children and assisted raising the children of the neighborhood, often called the “neighborhood babysitter”. She was an expert tobacco stripper, and people drove from miles around to buy her strawberries and blackberries.

Pat Snodgrass

Pat Snodgrass, 92 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Friday, June 3, 2016, at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Pat was born on Monday, September 10, 1923, in Richmond, Kentucky to the late Frank and Ethel Jane Hunt Marcum and wife of the late Robert Esley Snodgrass. She was a member of Morgantown Nazarene Church and a homemaker. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one daughter Carole Brown and three sisters Lucille Brockman, Lorene Loveday and Bessie Mae Cottingham.

Nellie Renfrow age 66, of Morgantown passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green.  She was born on July 23, 1949 to the late Hubert & Vernie Lindsey Renfrow.  She was a homemaker, loved listening to gospel music and talking on the telephone.  She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers Chester & Vollie Renfrow.

Jerry Stewart Tarrance, 75 of Roundhill, Ky. passed away Monday, May 30, 2016, at his residence. Jerry was born on Wednesday, November 27, 1940, in Jefferson, Indiana to the late Raymond "Fish" and Dona Colburn Tarrance and husband of the late Vineeda Haynes Tarrance. He was a member of Bethlehem Church of Christ in Reedyville, Ky. and he retired from the auto upholstery business. Jerry enjoyed classic cars, going to car shows and working on cars.

Mary Lois Hatcher, 73, of Morgantown passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016, at her residence.  She was born on Dec. 30, 1942, to the late George and Alice Baker Pendleton.  She was a homemaker, a selfless wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend that will be deeply missed.  Our days will be a little darker without your smile to lift us up.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Floyd Hatcher, a stepdaughter, four brothers, two sisters and one niece.

Bobby Pendley, 84, of Provo, Ky. passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at his residence. He was born in Provo, Ky. on April 26, 1932, to the late James Henry and Laura Edith Tines Pendley. Mr. Pendley was a Coal Miner, farmer and a member of Monticello Missionary Baptist Church and Casia Lodge #272.  He loved baseball, fishing, and his cattle. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lucy Pendley, daughter Karon Pendley, brother Billy Pendley and sister Adeline Johnson.

Ronnie Burden, 57, of  Morgantown, passed away Friday, May 20, 2016, at his residence.  He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on January 18, 1959, to the late Silas Burden & Della Mae Cox Burden.  He was a member of the Leonard Oak Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and riding back roads to enjoy God's gift of nature.  He was preceded in death by his parents, son Jason Burden & sister Anna Lou Woosley.
