Michelle Elmore Cardwell, 46, of  Morgantown, Ky. passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Michelle was born in Louisville, Ky. on July 13, 1972.  She was of the Baptist faith, loved to camp, fish and recently worked in the meat department at Save A Lot.  She was preceded in death by her mother Shelby Dimple Johnson Elmore and son Brian Kieth Cardwell Jr.

Wanda D. Phelps

Wanda D. Phelps, 72 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed peacefully August 11, 2018 at the Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Wanda was born January 27, 1946, in Simpson County Kentucky to the late Everett and Lula Mae Eaton Mayhew and wife of the late Carl D. Phelps whom she married in 1969. She was a member of Carve Rock Baptist Church where she enjoyed serving as a Sunday school teacher as well as many other roles over her lifetime. Wanda was a respiratory therapist and retired after many years from the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Randell Dewayne Sublett, Sr., 64, of Morgantown, KY, Passed away Friday, August 3, 2018, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Randell was born July 6, 1954, in Butler Co., KY to the late Aubrey Sublett and Rachel Dunn Poole. Randell attended Cool Springs General Baptist Church, loved fishing and Playing Pool. Other than his Parents he is preceded in death by two sisters; Jenny Russ and Michelle Phelps and one brother, Ricky Sublett.

Charles T. Peay, 88 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018, at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Charles was born November 5, 1929, in Butler County Kentucky to the late Ervin and Opaline Hammers Peay. He is preceded in death by seven brothers George, Reuben, Will, Henry C., Paul, Chester and Glen Peay and four sisters Lucy Peay, Pauline Smith, Jewel Neese and Myrtle Givens.

Charles T. Peay is survived by one brother L.J. Peay and wife Aloma of Greenville, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.

James "Cut" Whitaker, 79, of Morgantown, KY, passed away Friday, August 3, 2018, at Morgantown Care and Rehab. James was born March 23, 1939,, in Butler Co., KY to the late Leo and Eula Mae Moore Whitaker. He was a retired heavy equipment operator, a member of Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church and the Butler Co. Fox Hunters Club. James loved fox hunting, playing guitar, singing, attending church, and was a good Christian man. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Lynn Whitaker and one great-granddaughter, Madison Elizabeth Mason.
