Shawn Michael Walton, 19, of Hartford, Ky. passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, In. He was born in Hartford, Ky. on Dec. 15, 1998. Shawn was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Cromwell, Ky., enjoyed playing volleyball, basketball and video games. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Ruford and Rosemary Phelps, Neil and Sharon Walton Kirby.

Shawn is survived by his mother Mary Michelle Walton of Beaver Dam; sister Sharon Walton of Beaver Dam; father Mike Walton (Selina) of Indiana; step sister Michaela McClean of Morgantown; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and an abundance of friends.

Funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Friday, June 29 at 12 pm with Bro. Ricky Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Grant Phelps Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 28from 5-8pm and Friday from 8am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown, Ky.
