On November 12th BCHS will have a KHSAA Title IX Audit.  If you would like to participate in an open forum with the KHSAA Auditor from 3:00-4:00 to discuss the purpose of the Title IX program you may attend a public comment session.  

MORGANTOWN — Butler County is set to visit Ohio County for its final game in the 2024 high school football season on Friday, Nov. 1. 

The Bears and the Eagles are longtime rivals. 

Butler County notched a win over Ohio County during the 2023 high school football season. The Bears beat the Eagles 24-16 in the two teams' last meeting on Oct. 27, 2023. 

Since 2020, Butler County has registered four straight wins over Ohio County. 

MORGANTOWN — The Butler County boys' team has advanced to the KHSAA Class 2A State Cross Country Meet for the fourth consecutive year.

MORGANTOWN — Butler County senior guard Ty Price announced his commitment to UT Martin during today's press conference held in the Butler County Fieldhouse. 

Price thanked God, his family, his community, and his coaches for everything they had done for him.  

Price is the reigning 3rd Region Boys' Basketball Player of the Year. The Butler County senior guard has been heavily recruited by numerous men's college basketball programs. 

MORGANTOWN — Butler County is set to visit Glasgow for its final Class 3A, District 2 matchup in the 2024 high school football season on Friday, Oct. 25.

Butler County High School honored the fall sport athletes prior to Friday night's football game.

Kaitlyn has cheered for 2 years.  She is the daughter of Michelle Franzell & grand daughter of Kathleen Brooks, both of Morgantown and is being escorted tonight by her mother and grandmother. 

MORGANTOWN — Butler County is set to host the 12th District Volleyball Tournament Monday, Oct. 21-Tuesday, Oct. 22.

Grayson County and Edmonson County will meet in the opening match of the 12th District Volleyball Tournament at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 21.

In the nightcap of the 12th District Volleyball Tournament at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 21, Whitesville Trinity will meet Butler County.

The championship match of the 12th District Volleyball Tournament is slated for 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22. 

MORGANTOWN — Butler County is set to host Adair County on Senior Night Friday, Oct. 18.

It is Kentucky’s second confirmed case of the disease that affects white-tailed deer, elk and other animals in the deer family
