HS CROSS COUNTRY: Butler County boys' team advances to state meet
MORGANTOWN — The Butler County boys' team has advanced to the KHSAA Class 2A State Cross Country Meet for the fourth consecutive year.
It's the first four straight appearances in the state meet stretch for the Bears.
The Bears placed sixth out of 12 teams in the KHSAA Class 2A, Region 2 Cross Country Meet in Hardin County on Saturday, Oct. 26. Ryder Harbaugh (4th) and Case Hooten (5th) each recorded Top 5 finishes for the Bears.
The Bears will compete in the KHSAA Class 2A State Cross Country Meet at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington at 1:15 p.m. EST on Saturday, Nov. 2

Girls' 5,000 Meter Run: 21st - Harmony Taylor, 22:55.24; 51st - Emily Gregory, 30:09.34; 58th - Sophie Minor, 35:47.74.
Boys' 5,000 Meter Run: 4th - Ryder Harbaugh, 16:52.40; 5th - Case Hooten, 17:00.45; 39th - Hudson Fuller, 20:11.58; 62nd - Carson Davis, 21:26.26; 63rd - Marvin Brown, 21:26.73; 73rd - Landon Henderson, 23:01.40; 75th - Rhett Anderson, 23:18.76.
