Magistrates revisit recycling center; motion rescinded to rename Rochester Paddlewheel

Butler County Fiscal Court met on Monday, August 10th, at the Butler County Courthouse. All magistrates were in attendance: Stevie Givens, Kevin Phelps, Timmy Givens, David Whittinghill, and Dillon Bryant.

Thieves target county property - road department & animal shelter

On August 10th, Butler County Judge-Executive Tim Flener called the Sheriff's office to report several items stolen from the Butler County Road Department. Butler County Sheriff's Deputy Trey Flener arrived at the scene, 462 Boat Factory Road, the Butler County Road Department, and spoke with Road Department Supervisor Johnathan Deweese. According to Deweese, someone took the gate off the hinges and gained access to the property.
