Joy Ann Daugherty, age 67 of Morgantown, KY passed away Monday, November 1, 2021 at the Medical Center surrounded by her family and long time best friend. Joy was born on Tuesday, July 13, 1954 in Winchester, KY to the late Millard and Louise Price Willoughby. She was a member of Belmont General Baptist Church and a retired switch board operator for the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Joy loved cooking, canning, flowers, spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren, she loved being a granny.

Bobby Gene Hester, 86 of Morgantown, KY passed away Monday, November 1, 2021 at his residence. Bobby was born Friday, March 29, 1935 in Franklin, KY to the late Albert Harry and Ida Beatrice Thompson Hester. He was a United States Air Force veteran and a retired truck driver. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Virginia Hester; one brother; one sister and companion Hassie Crowder.

Delania Dawn Payton Herrera, age 23, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 in Henderson, Ky. She was born in Hartford on May 16, 1998. Delania worked in manufacturing, loved arts and crafts. She loved to cook and enjoyed spending time with her children. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Joy Payton, Pauline Holland and Roy Williams and her nieces, Kynlee Varble and Amelia Payton.

Earl Wade Cardwell, 77 of Morgantown, KY passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021 at his residence. Earl was born on Friday, September 15, 1944 in Butler County, KY to the late Isom and Earline Gray Cardwell. He was a member of Leonard Oak General Baptist Church, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his bike. Earl loved to carve wood, from making bird houses to walking sticks.

Micheal Ray Phelps, 54, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.  He was born in Marion, IN on Sept. 7, 1967 to the late William E. Phelps and Patricia Joan Duncan.  Micheal enjoyed playing video games and some may remember him as a great football player for Butler Co. High School.  He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Sharon Phelps.

Micheal is survived by his siblings Shelia Neighbors, William Phelps, Anita Dockery, James Lee Phelps, Tina Dockery, Michelle Patel, Rebecca Belcher and Rita Phelps.

Nicholas Ray Dockery, age 31 of Morgantown, KY passed away Monday, October 25, 2021 in Morgantown, KY. He was born on Wednesday, May 2, 1990 in Bowling Green, KY to Phillip Dockery and Debbie Embry Geary who survives. Nicholas enjoyed hunting and fishing but most of all he loved being a daddy to his boys. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Hester Ray and Roxie Dockery; maternal grandparents Ronald Embery, Debra Kay and Ronnie Lee; one brother Austin Lane Dockery and one uncle Scottie "Fatsy" Embry.

BELTON – Sherman Ray Bailey, age 80, of Belton died Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 4:45 p.m. at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville.  Mr. Bailey was born July 12, 1941 in Muhlenberg County and was a retired truck driver at Wetterau Trucking Company.  He was also, a member of New Midway Missionary Baptist Church.  Sherman was preceded in death by his wife Pauline Bailey; son Sherman Glynn Bailey; parents Auber and Geneva Bailey; brothers Sammuel Bailey, Aubery Bailey, Jr., Marvin Bailey and Larry Bailey.

Freda Clark Embry died on September 29, 2021, of complications from cancer at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Gerald A. Embry, her parents Joseph and Lura Clark, brothers Douglas Clark, Albert Clark, and Lawrence Clark, and sister Doris Jane Virtucio. Freda leaves behind her adoring children: Robin E. Embry of Morgantown, Kentucky; Sheila E. Embry of Morgantown, Kentucky; Cynthia E. Britt of Louisville, Kentucky, and Laura E. Hoffman of Clarksville, Tennessee.

Jerry Wayne McKenney, age 79 of Louisville, KY passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at his residence. He was born on Wednesday, January 28, 1942 in Butler County, KY to the late Oswald and Laura Green McKenney. Jerry was retired from General Electric in Louisville, KY and member of The International Union of Electric Workers-Communications Workers of America (IUE-CWA).

Tony "Red" Abbott, age 55 of Morgantown, KY passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at the Greenview Regional Hopital in Bowling Green, KY. Red was born on Friday, March 25, 1966 in Butler County, KY to the late William Otho and Marth Neely Abbott. He was a lifetime member of The North American Hunting Club and The National Wild Turkey Federation. Red was a jack of all trades, he enjoyed Jeep trail riding, gun sports and hunting and fishing.
