Delphia Lee Gidcumb Pendley, age 83, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Monday, Jan. 22, 2024 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center.  She was born on March 16, 1940 in Butler Co., Ky.  She attended Richland Baptist Church and Union Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Sumitomo.  Delphia enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren, cooking and sewing. She was preceded in death by her parents Gus and Odessie Brown Gidcumb; husband Harrison Pendley; son Tony Pendley; sister Dorothy Mae Deel; father and mother-in-law Paul and Susan Pendley.

 She is survived by her children Tammy Phelps (Doug) and Pam Rose (Gigi); grandchildren Ryan Pendley (Dana), Jared Rose (Gradie), Dillon Phelps (Amy), Tyler Pendley (Mykayla) and Tabitha Pendley; great grandchildren Harrison Lane Pendley, Kimber Pendley and Lilly Pendley; sister Dulcie Faye Lee; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.  A special thanks to the staff and special friends at Morgantown Care and Rehab Center.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024 at 1:00pm with Bro. Jim McDaniel officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sandy Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, Jan. 29 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and Tuesday from 9:00am until 1:00pm at Smith Funeral Home.
