Zina McDaniel Taylor, age 58, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024 at her residence. She was born on Jan.15, 1966 in Russellville, Ky. She was a homemaker who enjoyed fishing, camping, going to the races, watching UK Basketball, attending yard sales and being with her family, especially her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents James Larry and Josephine Alcorn McDaniel; brothers Jimmy McDaniel, Billy McDaniel, John McDaniel and Robert McDaniel; sisters Charlotte Henderson and Lori Chennault.

She is survived by her husband Johnny Taylor Jr.; daughters Erica White (Nick), Jessica Cardwell (Josh) and Alex West (Travis); step-son Zachary Taylor (Chelsea); grandchildren Christian White, Lilly Cardwell, Braylyn Cardwell, Mason Cardwell, Gavin Lloyd, Chloe Lloyd and Morgan White; special great granddaughter Nevaeh King “Porkchop”; step grandchildren Xander and Raelynn Faith Taylor; brothers Donald Ray McDaniel and Andy McDaniel (Laura); sister Donna Taylor (Milton) and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024 at 6:00pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Pete Phelps officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, Jan. 25 from 2:30pm until 6:00pm at Smith Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Smith Funeral Home, PO Box 280, Morgantown, Ky. 42261.
