Melvin J. Beasley, 64 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday November 1, 2014 at his residence. Melvin was born September 26, 1950 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Raymond and Lonie Burden Beasley. He was a member of Oak Ridge General Baptist Church, retired coon hunter and a avid UK basketball fan. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Jerry and Jeff Beasley.

 Chance Lane  Martin, infant of  Morgantown, Ky. passed away Friday, October 31, 2014 at the Medical Center Hospital in Bowling Green, Ky.  Chance was born October 31th  to the parents of  Travor Lane Martin and Ashley Deland Flint. He was preceded in death by his Great- Grand parent Sammie Martin; Great- Great Grandparents James Cardwell and Otis and Louise McCoy, Aunt Cheri Cardwell and Cousin John Renfroe.

Thomas “Tom” Eclet Miller, 75, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, October 30th, 2014 at his residence. 

He was born on December 7th, 1938 in Grayson County, the son of the late Clarence and Brilla (Duke) Miller. Tom was a retired drywall hanger and attended Belmont Church.

William Louis Green

William Louis Green, 90, of Henderson, Ky., died peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 28 at Owensboro Health Medical Center.
Bill Louis, as he was known by longtime friends and family, never met a stranger and will be remembered for his caring and compassion, bright smile and sparkling eyes that are a common trait among the Green family.

Eldon Dean Howard, 88, of Hartford, Kentucky passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014 at the Professional Care Health and Rehab Center in Hartford. Eldon was born December 25, 1925 in Waterloo, Indiana to the late Charles H. and Hazel L. Wherly Howard and was husband of the late Bertha Mae Evans Howard. He was a member of Slapy Creek Baptist Church, the United States Air Force Veteran and was a Mason in the Masonic Lodge. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife and one sister, Merlen Howard, and one brother, Lowell Howard.

Charles "Josey" Joseph Smith, 30 of Bowling Green, Ky. passed away Sunday October 26, 2014 at his residence. Josey born February 3, 1984 in Louisville Kentucky to Ronald Louis Smith and Brenda Brooks Brady who survives. He attended Huntsville United Methodist Church and loved spending time with family and friends, enjoyed playing disc golf and was very creative in writing and music. Preceded in death by his grandparents Charles Richard Brooks, Vena Jean Cardwell Brooks and Bud and Anita Smith.

Cathie was born September 19, 1952 in Bloomington, Illinois to the late James B. and Doris Maxwell McCauley. She attended House of Prayer Church and retired from Nestaway Factory. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Tammy England.

She was a member of Sandy Creek Missionary Baptist Church an a homemaker. She is preceded in death by three brothers Marvin A., David and John Webster and a special cousin Ben T. Brown.

Haskell O. Flener, 70 of Bowling Green, Ky. passed away Saturday October 18, 2014 at the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville Tennessee. Haskell was born April 17,1944 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Leonard and Pearl Butler Flener. He enjoyed being with his family, reading the Bible and collecting knives. He is preceded in death by his step mother Eulalia Flener.
