Christopher “Bruce” Vanderver, 57, of Nashville, TN, passed away on July 7, 2022, after a yearlong battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Bruce was born on May 18, 1965, to the late Edsel Bruce and Gloria Gail (Southard) Vanderver.

Janice C. Adkins, age 78 of Morgantown, KY passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Janice was born on Saturday, June 10, 1944 to the union of the late C.B. and Palstine Daugherty Henderson. She was a member of Barnett's Lick Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker. Janice enjoyed scrap booking, drawing, crocheting, cooking and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by three brothers WC, Winzel and Glen Henderson and two sisters Costella Webster and Carolyn Amos.

Donnie Ray Lee, Jr. age 58, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the Owensboro Regional Hospital.  He was born in Butler County, Ky. on Dec. 31, 1963 to the late Donald Ray Lee, Sr. and Gilda Hatcher Lee who survives.  He was a truck driver and having been a long haul driver has been to every state in the U.S. He loved to trapshoot, fish and was a racecar driver and an avid NASCAR fan. Donnie was an active member of the Butler County Conservation Club. He is preceded in death by his father and stepson Shane Embry.

Brianna Marie Tomes, age 21, passed away Tuesday, June, 21, 2022 in Drakesboro, KY. Brianna was born Saturday, July 1, 2000 in Leitchfield, KY to Brian Kyle Tomes and Alicia Ann Hixon Meredith. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church and was a 2018 graduate of Butler County High School. Brianna worked as a CNA and loved her job at Huddle House in Central City, KY. She was a Great secret keeper and enjoyed fishing, being with family and friends and was very outgoing.

Lawrence Dale Goodall, age 41 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away peacefully June 21, 2022 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. He was born on Saturday, April 18, 1981 in Bowling Green, KY to the late David Odell "Goodie" and Nova Gist Zachary Goodall who survives. Dale was known as the "Miracle Child" in 1984 Dale was 3 years old playing in the back yard and fell in a well.

Pamela Lynn Logan, age 41 passed away Monday, June 20, 2022 at the Hospice of Southern KY Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY. Pamela was born Tuesday, May 19, 1981 in Bowling Green, KY to the Union of Billy Earl and Wilma Nash Logan who survive. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Pam was currently a LPN nurse at Journey Pure in Bowling Green. Pam was a travel nurse and had a heart for long term and hospice care. She was a very strong advocate for her patients and took the time to get to know each one personally. She enjoyed gardening, mowing, working in her yard and tending her fruit trees.

Reverend David N. Youngblood, pastor of the Mud River Union General Baptist Church, finished his earthly assignment on Sunday, June 19th.  David was born in Evansville, IN, December 24th, 1947, to the late Helena Muriel Cox, and his father, Robert Youngblood still survives.

Sandra Smith Cohron, 81, passed away Saturday, June 18 at her home. The Rochester, Kentucky native was born April 4, 1941, to the late Worth and Mary Gene Duncan Smith. In addition to her parents, Sandra also was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Dale Hatcher Cohron in 2019 who was her high school sweetheart at Butler Co. High. She worked many years at Central Bank and Trust Company where she started as a teller and retired early as the assistant V.P. of Accounting. Sandra loved her family and getting together with all her cousins to play cards in Rochester.

Sylvia Mae Bryant, age 90 of Roundhill, KY passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Morgantown Care & Rehab. Sylvia was born Sunday, December 6, 1931 in Butler County, KY to the late Albert and Flora House Cardwell and wife of the late Hillard Bryant. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Church of Christ and a retired homemaker and farmer. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one granddaughter Jennifer Clark and three brothers Eldon, Weldon and Tildon Cardwell.

Howard Dean "Droopy" Drake, age 86 of Morgantown Ky. passed away on June 18, 2022, in Morgantown Ky. Howard was born on Monday, November 25, 1935, in the South Hill Community of Butler County to the late Charles and Jessie May Belcher Drake. He was a devoted member and Deacon for 46 years of Morgantown First Baptist Church, where he loved all children and supplied all of them with bubblegum and a member of Cassia Lodge #272.
