Charles Riley Leach

Charles Riley Leach, age 72 of Morgantown, KY. passed away Sunday October 6, 2024 at his home. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on April 5, 1952 and was a retired International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 181. Charlie loved the Lord, and was saved by God's grace and he was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church. He was a great papaw, an avid Trump supporter, car enthusiast and helped anyone he could. He was preceded in death by his parents Beulah Moffett and step-father Arbel Moffett, his father Willis Riley Leach, his sister Karen.

Lisa Marie Carpenter Anderson, age 61, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2024 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.  She was born in Russellville, KY on  Jan. 21, 1963.  Lisa was a member of Richland Baptist Church and a homemaker.  She enjoyed fishing and being with her family.  She was preceded in death by her parents W.C. Carpenter and Jennie Lee Reeves; daughter Jennifer Johnson; brothers Clay Carpenter, Ray Reeves and Carroll Reeves.

Marvene Cohron, 92, of Bowling Green, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 30 at Greenwood Nursing Home and Rehab. The Rochester, KY native was the daughter of the late, Ellis and Hettie Wood Blaine. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cohron was preceded in death by her husband, Carson Cohron; brothers, Lyle Blaine, Byron Blaine and Derlith Blaine.

Connie Lane Forbes McCoy, age 63, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024 at her residence.  She was born in Bowling Green, KY on Oct. 5, 1960.  Connie was a homemaker and enjoyed mowing, dancing, fishing and being with her children.  She was preceded in death by her parents Wayne and Mary Bratcher Forbes; husband Charles McCoy; brother Jimmy Forbes; mother-in-law Carolyn McCoy.

Connie is survived by her children Ashley Hawkins and Matthew Hawkins; step-son Charles R. McCoy (Tobie); one sister Linda Forbes; father-in-law Waylon McCoy.

Troy Wayne Hatcher, age 71, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024.  He was born in Butler Co., KY on July 21, 1953.  Troy was a heavy equipment operator and a member of IUOE Local 181 and enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and gardening.  He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Mary Johnson Hatcher and sister Anna Martin.
