Bamis J. "Pete" Dockery, age 68 of Morgantown, KY passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022 at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro, KY. Pete was born August 9, 1953 to the late Bamis and Golda Beasley Dockery. He loved family gatherings and dirt track racing which he shared with his sons.

Barry T. Wilson

Barry T. Wilson, 62, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Thursday, July, 21, 2022 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.  He was born in Warren Co., Ky. on Oct. 22, 1959 to the late Chalmer “Toy” and Diedra Lee Wilson.  Barry was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church and was a self-employed tradesman.  His hobbies included classic cars, gardening, horses and being around his family and friends.  Barry was known for his sense of humor and making people laugh.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Tim Wilson.

Richard Darrel Sweets

Richard Darrel Sweets, age 72, passed away Thursday July 21, 2022 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.

The Louisville, Kentucky native was the son of the late John Richard (J.R.) Sweets and Yuleen Huff Sweets. 

Richard was a graduate of Butler County High School. He was an avid UK Basketball fan, loved woodworking and above all loved his family and his grandkids. He was a member of the 31W N Church of Christ in Franklin, KY.

Camilla Kaye Kirby, age 74 of Morgantown, KY passed away Monday, June 27, 2022 at the Springfield Nursing and Rehab. in Springfield, KY. She was born on Monday, November 10, 1947 in Greenville, KY to the late Cody Edward and Carolyn McKenney Hammers. Kaye retired from Morgantown Bank after several years of service. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by one brother Edward Dean Hammers. 

Camilla Kaye Kirby is survived by her husband Throney Clay Kirby of Morgantown, KY; one brother Howard Hammers and wife Nancy of Louisville, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Carole Lindsey Smith

Carole Lindsey Smith, 73 of Louisville, passed away July 15, 2022. She was born December 15, 1948 to the late Alton and Aline Flener Lindsey. Carole earned her Master’s degree from the University of Louisville. She was a teacher at St. Francis of Assisi and Community Catholic. Being a long-time artist, Carole went on to open her own business called Lionheart Art Gallery in St. Matthews and down town.

Lonnie Cook, 83, was born on September 6, 1938, in Kona, KY, to the late Curtis Archie Cook and Lillie Cook. He died at home with family at his side in Bowling Green, KY, on July 12, 2022.

Besides his parents, Lonnie was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Anna Sharer Cook; and five brothers and sisters, L. C., Jewell, W. M., Bobby, and Linda.

Angie Kay Henderson Deel, age 62, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at her residence.  She was born in Warren Co., Ky. on February 3, 1960 to the late Harold  and Dorothy Phelps Henderson.  Angie worked as a dispatcher for Eagle Industries and Sunshine Trucking.  She was a member of Sandy Creek Missionary Baptist Church.  She loved to talk on the phone and play softball.  She is preceded in death by her father and brother William Rozie Henderson .

Mary was born on Tuesday, January 21, 1958 in Butler County, KY to the late LD House and Beatrice Childress Casey. She was a retired screen printer at Blue Cotton in Bowling Green, KY and a homemaker. Mary enjoyed watching movies, all animals and loved spending time with family.
