Evertt Phelps

Evertt Phelps, age 85, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Jetson, Ky. on Jan. 23, 1939. He was retired from the Butler County Road Department, a member of the Temple View General Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, Reedyville Masonic Lodge #438 and a Rizpah Shriner.  He was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Pauline Shepard Phelps; son Russell Dale Phelps; grandson Joshua Allen Phelps; daughter-in-law Karen West Phelps; several brothers and sisters.

Bobby Lee Embry, aged 59, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2024, in Morgantown, KY. Born on December 1, 1964, in Henderson, KY, he was a man known for his loving nature, his handy skills, and his friendly demeanor.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Butress Phelps Embry. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his devoted wife, Cathy Willingham Embry, his beloved children, daughter Beth Embry and son Andrew Embry, and his brother Jerry Embry (Vicki), along with several nieces and nephews.

Gary Lane Cox

Gary Lane Cox, age 59, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Sept. 21, 2024 in Nashville, TN.  He was born in Warren Co., KY on Nov. 27, 1964.  Gary attended New Gasper Church and he was a route salesman with Golden Flake, Sara Lee and Little Debbie.  He enjoyed farming, woodworking, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.  He was preceded in death by his parents JC and Carol Deel Cox; his twin brother Terry and brother Jackie Cox.

Linda H. Clark, age 74, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.  She was born in Dimple, KY on Jan. 7, 1950.  Linda was a homemaker and a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church.  She enjoyed crafting and yard work.  She was preceded in death by her parents John Raymond and Elaine Baxter Henderson; husband Morris Dale Clark; brothers Harold, Lonnie and Jeffrey Henderson and nephew Jonathon Henderson.

Martha Ann Schaeufele

Martha Ann Schaeufele, Bowling Green, KY, passed to her heavenly home on September 17, 2024, at the age of 86 with family at her side, marking an end to a full life. Born in Russellville, KY she moved to Bowling Green, graduating from Warren County High School in 1956, attending Bowling Green Business University. Martha was married to Johnny Schaeufele for 63 years until his passing in November 2022. Both Johnny and Martha were past members of Bethany Baptist, Alvaton; Eastwood; and Morgantown First Baptist.
