Robert Bruce Youngblood, called Bob by his family and friends, was born August 12, 1927 in Chandler to the late George Roscoe and Hazel (Skelton) Youngblood. He lived in and around the Chandler area for the early part of his life.

Bennett Johnson

Bennett Johnson, age 83, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2024 at the Medical Center. He was born in Roundhill, KY on Feb. 12, 1941 and was a retired mechanic for Millers Bottled Gas.  Bennett was a member of Carve Rock Baptist Church and enjoyed mowing, working in his garden and helping his children work on different things.  He was preceded in death by his parents Welbie and Eliza Woosley Johnson; in-laws Ed and Dorothy Phelps; son-in-law Craig Stanton.

Elmo Lincoln Martin, 103 years old, passed away August 6, 2024 at the Morgantown Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Elmo was born on October 10, 1920 to the late James Otis Martin, Sr. and Pernie Oller Martin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Louise Benson Martin, a brother, James “Tommy” Otis Martin, Jr., sisters, Irene Constant and Bonnie Flener and his son, James David Martin.

Lou was a son, father, grandfather, a brother, and friend to many. Born in Danbury, CT, Lou attended Henry Abbott Tech and went on to become a draftsman for Perkin Elmer. Lou primarily designed circuit boards for US Defense projects and other private customers. When not working Lou participated in many car and motorcycle clubs.
