Harrison White Jr., age 73 of Caneyville, Ky. passed away Sunday December 11, 2011 at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center. He was a retired Carpenter & a member of the Caneyville Masonic Lodge.

He was born on April 30, 1938 in Butler Co. the son of Harrison & Marie Dockery White Sr.

Pearl Coots Flener Hess, 88 of Louisville, Ky. passed away Thursday Dec. 8th 2011 at the Episcopal Church Home with her family by her side. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a member of the Stamp Society and the Post card Club. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Freeman Flener and Justin Hess. She is survived by her daughter Rachel Faye Casey ( Bobby), granddaughter Kelly Woods (David), great grandchildren, Kasey and Karmen Woods and sister Mabel Lee.

Sarah M. Phelps Lee, 77, of Morgantown, KY passed away Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. She was a Butler County native, daughter of the late Lester and Pauline Shepherd Phelps and wife of the late Eugene Lee for 62 years. Sarah was a member of Belmont General Baptist Church, factory worker at Kellwood for many years, homemaker and former owner of Lee’s Sorghum. Preceded in death by one son Ronnie Lee; sister Nola Embry and 2 brothers William and Randal Phelps.

Eugene Lee, 81, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011 at his residence. He was a Butler County native, the son of the late Tona and Ora Flener Lee and husband of the late Sarah M. Phelps Lee for 62 years. Eugene was of the Church of Christ faith, an Army Veteran, a member of Reedyville Masonic Lodge, the Rizpah Shrine Temple, retired from Butler County Road Dept., a farmer and former owner of Lee’s Sorghum. Preceded in death by one son Ronnie Lee, one brother Wilmer Lee and 4 sisters Irene Flener, Imogene Morton, Glayds Beach and Faustine Sunderland.

Virgie Lee Casey , age 72 of Caneyville, Ky. passed away Monday December 05, 2011 at Twin Lakes Regional Hospital. She was born on May 19, 1939, the daughter of Ben and Artie (Embry) Embry. She and her husband had been married 52 years. She was a Homemaker & housewife.

Theressia Gail Hammers age 60 of Clinton, TN passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 at her residence. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Theressia loved to sew, quilt, and work puzzles. She was preceded in death by her father William Cleo Carter; First husband, Paul Lynn Rhea Sr.; three grandchildren, Jonathon Rhea, Nicholas Hammers, and Jeffrey Hammers.

Mary Jane Hall Martin, 86, of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2011 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab in Morgantown. She was a Basket, Kentucky native, daughter of the late William Mason and Olia T. Howard Hall, and wife of the late Jewel C. Martin. Mary was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Catherine Elizabeth Johnson Mason age 73 of Morgantown Ky., passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 at her residence. She was a Butler Co. native, Daughter of the late Cleatus and Lottie Johnson, member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church and a Homemaker. She was preceeded in death by one sister Dimple Elmore and three brothers H.C., Leslie and J.N. Johnson.

Glenda Joyce Daugherty, 46 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at the Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was a Warren County native, daughter of Billy G. and Wilma J. Carrier Daugherty who survives. She was a member of Gilstrap Church of Christ and a 1983 Butler County High School graduate.
