Ms. Carolyn Johnson, 60, of Bowling Green, KY died Monday, January 27, 2014 at Medical Center of Bowling Green. The Butler County High School graduate was a former employee of Warren County Regional Jail and member of General Baptist Church of Morgantown, KY. Carolyn enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, collecting Angel and Indian figurines; and watching her favorite soaps.

Carolyn was the daughter of J.B. Brooks and Juanita Turner. She is preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Turner; sisters, Barbara Sue Johnson, Joyce Ann Johnson; brothers, Jessie Brooks and Johnny Johnson; grandparents, Olla Turner, Jessie Turner, Annie Brooks and Penn Brooks.

She is survived by her daughter, Christy Murrell of Morgantown, KY; sons, William (Amanda) Johnson of Alvaton, KY and James (Miranda) Johnson of Brownsville, KY; grandchildren, William Jr, Robert Austin, Elizabeth, Cheyenne, Destiny, Allison, Ronnie and Serinity and great grandson, Hunter; sister, Plina Johnson of Owensboro, KY; brothers, Wendell (Shelia) Johnson of Rockfield, KY and William Morgan of Lewisburg, KY; several nieces, nephews and relatives; and companion, Joseph Lloyd of Bowling Green, KY.

Services will be at noon Thursday at Burnam & Son Mortuary, Inc., 201 Center St., Bowling Green. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
