Edward Jerome Kolidziej

Edward Jerome Kolidziej, 87 of Attica, Indiana passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 9:25 a.m. at the Williamsport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Ed was born in East Chicago, Indiana on April 19, 1924. He was the son of Leon and Caroline Kozdras Kolodziej. He was married to Josephine Abbott and she preceded him in death by 2005. He previously lived in Florida and in Morgantown, Ky.

Brenda Gail Romans Jones

Brenda Gail Romans Jones, age 50 of Morgantown, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2012 at the Hospice Center of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green. The Jefferson County native was born January 28, 1962. She was an Assembly Line Work for Morgantown Plastic and a member of First Baptist Church.  She was the daughter of  the late Harold Wayne and Ruby Maxwell Romans. Funeral Service will be held  at 1 p.m. Wednesday, with Bro. Anthony Goff officiating, at Smith Funeral Home in Morgantown. Visitation will be Wednesday, 10 a.m until funeral at Smith Funeral Home.

Oakland Oswald Moore

Oakland Oswald Moore, age 84 of Fordsville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, March 10 , 2012 at Owensboro Medical Health System, Owensboro. The Butler County Native was born August 8, 1927. He was a retired farmer and logger.  He was the son  of  the late  Vol and Tempie Lou Moore . He was preceded in death by his two daughters Ronda Moore, Sandra Moore Stevens and many brothers and sisters.

Lottie Dean Peach

Lottie Dean Peach, 79 of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the St Mary's Hospital in Louisville, Ky. She was a Grayson County native, daughter of the late Willie and Faye Embry Bratcher and wife of the Hayward Peach. She was retired from Brown and Williamson American Tobacco Company in Louisville, Ky. and of Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by two daughters Rita Mason and Patsy Ann Beasley; one son Jimmy Peach; grandson Billy Peach; great grandchildren Jamie Miller and Kourtney Danks and three sisters and one brother.

Leslie Lacefield

Leslie Lacefield, 92, of Louisville went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 7, 2012.
He was a native of Butler County, Kentucky, a member of Rutledge Road Baptist Church and a retired self-employed upholsterer. He was preceded by his wife of 51 years, Valor (Brooks) Lacefield.
Survivors include his children, Geoffrey Lacefield (Donna), Loraine Bennett; 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Edward Flener

Edward L. Flener, 72 of Chandler, Arzonia died on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at his home. He was born in Flenerville, Ky. on February 13, 1939 to Foy C. and Flora Flener. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister Vondalene Hill.
He served two tours of duty in the U.S. Army serving his country in Germany and the Viet Nam War.

Sue James Cook, 73 of Cromwell, Ky. passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at her son’s residence in Beaver Dam, Ky. She was a Cromwell, Ky. native, daughter of the late Henry H. James and Madeline Leach James who survives. She was a longtime member of Morgantown Church of Christ in Morgantown, Ky. and she was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by one son Roger Cook and one sister Mary Beth James. William Azro Arnold

William Azro "Bill" Arnold, Louisville, KY, passed away at his home onTuesday, February 14,2012. Bill was born on October 23, 1932 in Butler County, KY, to Cecil and Grace (Wester) Arnold. Bill was a proud veteran of the US Air Force. He retired from Naval Air Systems Command in  Washington, D.C., after years as a civilian Logistics Management Specialist.
