Dorothy "Dottie" Neighbors, 68 of Bowling Green, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Dottie was born November 10, 1945 in Walker County, GA to the late Orvil and Glaydis Proctor Kilgore. She was a member of Coronerstone Assembly of God Church. She preceded in death by first husband Neil F. Gentry; daughter Amosella "Amy" Embry; son Ben-Jakim "Ben" Gentry; great grandchildren Hunter Deweese, Lillian Woosley and Tanner Deweese and several brothers and sisters.
Dorothy "Dottie" Neighbors is survived by 2 daughters; Shelia Kingery and husband Ezra of Morgantown, Ky. and Leona Clark of Morgantown, Ky.; brother Marshall Kilgore of GA; sister Betty Jo Moore GA; campanion Allen Neighbors of Morgantown, Ky.; step daughter Jennifer Neighbors of Morgantown, Ky; 2 step sons Chris Neighbors and wife Angela of Bowling Green, Ky., and Robert Neighbors of Bowling Green, Ky.; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; 9 step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 1:00pm with Bro. Gerald Hogan officiating. Burial will be in the Little Muddy Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, February 4, 2014, from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Wednesday from 8:00am til funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
