Donald B. "Duck" Haynes

Donald B. "Duck" Haynes, 70 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014, at his residence. Donald was born January 21, 1944 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Dayward and Ruby D. Coleman Haynes and husband of the late Lanna Rhea "Peggy" Keen Haynes. He was past Master and member of the Woodbury Lodge #280, past president of Butler County Conservation Club and retired from the Kentucky Dept of transportation in 1999.

Claire A. Kingery

Claire A. Kingery, 77 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Wednesday, March, 12, 2014 at her residence. She was born October 24, 1936 in Michigan, to the late Alfred and Claire Semmens Houston.  Claire was a homemaker. Mrs. Kingery was preceded in death by her parents and her husband William "Bill" Kingery.

James Booth

James William Booth, 54 of Bowling, Ky. passed away Monday, March 10, 2014 at the Medical Center Hospital  in Bowling Green. Mr. Booth  was born May 3, 1959  in Butler County, to the late Carl and Nola Phelps Booth.  James had been a dairy farmer for many years.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Joe booth and one sister Laura Bell Booth.
 
James William Booth  is survived by his  niece Kathy Brooks of Bowling Green; 1 Aunt Mary Phelps of Belton, Ky.; 1 uncle Donald Phelps of Belton, Ky.;  and several cousins.

Kevin Dwayne Goodall, 49 of Morgantown, Ky., passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at his residence. Kevin was born November 17, 1964 in Butler County Kentucky to the late William Randal and Alma Jean Lee Goodall. He was a member of Woodbury Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Woodbury Masonic Lodge.

Tony Embry, 44, of Caneyville, passed away Monday, March 10th, 2014 at his home. 

He was born on November 20th, 1969 in Ohio County, the son of the late Cecil and Zelda (Duke) Embry. Tony worked in construction hanging drywall.

Odessie Brown Gidcumb

Odessie Brown Gidcumb, 91 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Monday, March 10, 2014 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab. Odessie was born September 27, 1922 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Cornelius and Leona McKinney Brown and wife of the late Gus  Gidcumb. She was a member of Richland Missionary Baptist Church and retired seamstress for 38 years with Kanes. Mrs. Gidcumb is preceded in death by one daughter Dorothy Deel; 4 brothers Strother, Otis, Paten Brown and Focen McKinney; 2 sisters Pernie Kirby and Murnie McCoy and son in law Rodney Lee.

Jonathan Henderson

Jonathan Hugh Henderson, 33, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Friday, March 7, 2014 at the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tn. Mr. Henderson was born April 28, 1980  in Warren County, to Jeffery Henderson and Sericea Fishburn Hampton.  He was a member of Hillvue Heights Church.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Hugh D. Fishburn and his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Elaine Henderson.

Conley "Lee" Dockery

Conley "Lee" Dockery 53 of Beechmont, Ky. passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 at his residence. Lee was born September 16, 1960 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Arbie and Lectie Davis Dockery. He is preceded in death by one sister Myrleen "Dean" Wray and 3 brother in laws Leonard Hall, Harold Cook and Garry Pharris. He  was a loving father, grandfather and brother he was an avid University of Kentucky fan and a NASCAR fan with Tony Stewart being his favorite driver.

Lannie Eugene Anderson

Lannie Eugene Anderson, 69 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at Auburn Health Care in Auburn, Kentucky.

He was born Monday, August 14, 1944 in Butler County, Kentucky, the son of the late Joe Anderson and the late Clarcie Cook Anderson.

He was a retired factory worker and had a Baptist faith.

Kathy Taylor

Kathy Taylor passed away on March 6, 2014 at UT Hospital after an extended battle with cancer. Kathy was born March 26, 1949 in Butler County, Morgantown, Kentucky, to parents R.E. and Ruth Clayton West.
She leaves behind Dan Taylor, her loving and devoted husband of 41 years. She is survived by brother, Bob West and wife Jennifer of Evansville, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents. Kathy was of Baptist faith. She was a creative person working with stain glass, sewing and music.
