Edward L. Flener, 72 of Chandler, Arzonia died on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at his home. He was born in Flenerville, Ky. on February 13, 1939 to Foy C. and Flora Flener. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister Vondalene Hill.
He served two tours of duty in the U.S. Army serving his country in Germany and the Viet Nam War.

Sue James Cook, 73 of Cromwell, Ky. passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at her son’s residence in Beaver Dam, Ky. She was a Cromwell, Ky. native, daughter of the late Henry H. James and Madeline Leach James who survives. She was a longtime member of Morgantown Church of Christ in Morgantown, Ky. and she was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by one son Roger Cook and one sister Mary Beth James. William Azro "Bill" Arnold, Louisville, KY, passed away at his home onTuesday, February 14,2012. Bill was born on October 23, 1932 in Butler County, KY, to Cecil and Grace (Wester) Arnold. Bill was a proud veteran of the US Air Force. He retired from Naval Air Systems Command in  Washington, D.C., after years as a civilian Logistics Management Specialist. He was a member of Parkland Baptist Church in Louisville, KY.

Lace Donald "Donnie" Curry, 78 of Delbarton, WV went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 24, 2012 while a patient at the Appalachian Regional Hospital.  He was born September 17, 1933 at Holden, WV, the son of the late Lace and Dorothy Amburgey Curry.  He was also preceded in death by a sister Vada Lee Trapasso.

Patricia D. Lacefield age 62 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Friday, February 24, 2012, at the Hospice Center of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was a Butler County native, daughter of the late Wesley Wayne and Anna Pearl Snodgrass Phelps, a member of Barnett's Lick Missionary Baptist Church, and the assistant activities director at Morgantown Care and Rehab center for 22 years. She was preceeded in death by two brothers Welzie and Dewayne Phelps.

Katina L. Pullen Tipton, 38 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Friday, February 17,2012 at her residence. She was a Louisville, Ky. native, daughter of Jasper Ray Pullen and Martha Lutes Pullen who survives. She was a member of Shelbyville Community Church in Shelbyville, Ky. and worked and volunteered at the Butler County Boys and Girls Club.

Carl Douglas Beller, 64, of Bowling Green, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012, at his residence. The Butler County native was born June 21, 1947, to the late Chester and Ethel Borders Beller. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Garland and Bobby Beller. He was a member of Glendale Baptist Church. He was a member of the United States Army and a Mason.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at J.C. Kirby & Son, Broadway chapel, with burial in the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Sugar Grove Cemetery.

Murzie K. Givens, 89 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Thursday February 16, 2012 in Morgantown, Ky. She was born August 18, 1922, in Muhlenberg County, to Milam and Inis Jenkins Porter and was married to Shirley Harley Givens for 62 years until his death in 2001.
