Jerry J. Hatcher,72, of Morgantown, Ky, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.. Jerry was born May 18, 1942 in Butler County, Ky. to the late Jewel and Catherine House Hatcher. He was the owner of Hatcher's Sanitation and was a member of Wilson United Baptist Church in Caneyville, Ky.. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Donald Hatcher and David Hatcher, and one grandson, Austin Ryan Hope.

Thelma Mae Neighbors Phelps, 64, of  Morgantown passed away Friday, October 10, 2014 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green.  Thelma was born February 4, 1950 in Butler Co., Ky.  She  was born to the late Archie and Beatrice McKinney Neighbors.  She worked at Kane's and Kellwood, also nursing homes as well as being a private sitter.  She enjoyed quilting and designing her own patterns for quilts and researching genealogy.   She was  preceded  in death by her parents, son James Edben Fields and brother Bobby Neighbors.
 

Nealie H. Smith Sr., 72, of Beaver Dam, Ky, formerly of Morgantown, Ky, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Ohio County Hospital. Nealie was born January 13, 1942 in Butler County Ky to the late Less and Beulah Fleming Smith. He was a retired logger. Nealie is preceded in death by his parents and one son, John T. Smith.

David Wayne Embry, 69, of  Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.  David was born February 13, 1945  in Butler Co., Ky. He  was born to the late Recil and Ruby Burden Embry.  He was a retired construction worker and a member of Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church.  He loved to rabbit hunt. He was  preceded  in death by his parents and infant son, Michael Wayne Embry. 
 

David S. Daniels 35, of  Rockfield, Ky.,passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014 at his residence.
 
David was born July 25, 1979  in Indianapolis, In. He was born to the late William Franklin Hicks  and Peggy Louise Brown. He was a Truck Driver and had love for music.

William O. Royal, 82 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Friday, September 26, 2014 at his residence. William was born July 19, 1932 in Lakeland Georgia to the late W.C. and Mary Etta Teston Royal. He served in the United States Army for 4 years, retired from G.E. after 36 years of service, Bldg. 1, employed at Jefferson Special Police for 25 years and member of Belmont General Baptist Church for 18 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Chuck and John Royal and two sisters Edna Brantley and Doris Stewart.

Ruby LaVaughn (Brooks) Mitchell, 81 passed away Wednesday September 24,2014. Born in Morgantown, Ky she was a homemaker and a member of Peniel Missionary Baptist Church, and  Banock Eastern Star Chapter #531

She is  preceded in death by her husband Raymond Mitchell, parents Jasper and Myrtle Brooks, sister Mildred Dockey and brothers Eugene, Randall, Richard and Norman Brooks.

She is survived by her brother Leon Brooks (Deronda)  of Morgantown. And many nieces and nephews

Sharon Johnson Cardwell, 58, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Ky.  Sharon was born January 8, 1956  to C. Allen Johnson and Rheta Yvonne Goodman Johnson who survive.  She was a  CNA, Home Health Care Provider and a member of Aberdeen Baptist Church.  She was  preceded in death by her loving husband Garry Cardwell.
 

Evonne Belcher Mercer, 68, of  Sugar Grove, Ky. passed away Monday, September 22, 2014 at her Residence.  Evonne was born October  30, 1945  in Warren County  to the late Thornton Rudolph and Doris Lee Applin Belcher.  She was  employed at Hilliard Lyons and Bacon's as a switch board operator.  Evonne was a member of Sugar Grove United Methodist Church and Midway Homemakers Club. She loved traveling and most of all playing with her grand kids.  She was  preceded in death by her parents and brother Gary Belcher.
 

Royce Dean Hunt, 67, of  Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014 at  Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tn.  Royce was born September 25, 1946  in Butler County to the late Veachel and Delia Hunt.  He was a member of  Belmont General Baptist Church, a Mason and Navy Veteran. He was a truck driver, heavy equipment operator, liked nature and being outdoors.   He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Linda Lee, brother Rodney Hunt.
