Eleanor Irene Halliley Campbell Fedoiowicz Champney

Eleanor Irene Halliley Campbell Fedoiowicz Champney ,90 of Bowling Green, Ky., formerly of Morgantown, Ky., passed away Sunday, September 14, 2014 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Eleanor was born September 5, 1924 in Massachusetts to the late Fredrick and Lillian Fracier Halliley and wife of the late Henry Matthew Campbell, Joseph Fedoiowicz and Carlton Champney. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Morgantown, attended Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Bowling Green, Ky., retired from FRAM, member of Butler County Homemakers and the Disabled American Veterans.

Jeffrey Bruce Smith

Jeffrey Bruce Smith, 55 of Bowling Green, Ky. formerly of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday September 13, 2014 at his residence. Jeffrey was born May 29, 1959 to the late Jacqueline Smith Bratcher. He worked many years as a HVAC drafting technician and is preceded in death by his mother and grandparents Leck and Lena Mae Butler Smith.

Dottie D. Rives Jones

Dottie D. Rives Jones, 76 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014 at the Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, TN. Dottie was born June 13, 1938 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Raymond and Lorine Ewing Rives. She was a member of Green River Missionary Baptist Church, Butler County Homemakers and retired from Humana Health Services.

Lodema Botts

Lodema Botts, 84, Morgantown, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, at Hospice of Southern Kentucky, Inc. of Bowling Green following a lengthy battle with Parkinson's Disease. Born Oct. 15, 1929, in Casey, she was the daughter of the late Arlie and Easter (Snodgrass) Taylor. A graduate of Butler County High School, she attended Western Kentucky Teachers College and taught at two Butler County one-room schools: Howard and Shallow Ford. She moved with her family to northwest Indiana and worked at General American for several years. Lodema, her husband and son returned to Butler County in 1972.

Earl Marion Wingfield

Earl Marion Wingfield, 90, of Lillian, AL passed away Wednesday, August 27. 2014. He was a native of Butler County, KY and served in the United States Army. He also worked at Jacksonville Naval Airbase with computers and testing. He started his career as a TV technician for many years, and was an electronic wizard. Earl was involved in church all of his life, attending Brownsville Assembly of God until he wasn’t able to attend due to health reasons. He enjoyed being a ham radio operator.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lucille C. Wingfield; four brothers and one sister.

Debra J. Belcher

Debra J. Belcher, 57, of Roundhill, KY, passed away September 7, 2014 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin Hansford & Marilyn Catlette.

Debra was a nurse at the Medical Center of Bowling Green, KY. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

Survivors include her husband, Mark Belcher, of 26 years, four sons, Austin, Nicholas, Nathan, and Noel; one sister, Denise Bontrager.

A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, September 10 from 12-2 p.m. at the J.C Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel.

Aaron Jeffrey West

Aaron Jeffrey West, 35 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday, September 7, 2014 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. The Warren County native was born Friday, January 26, 1979 to Duncan and Janice Enochs West. Jeffrey was a special gift from God touching the lives of so many including friends, family and caregivers; now and forever in the presence of Jesus in glory. He attended Bible Center Assembly and is preceded in death by his grandmother Leah Enochs and grandfather Gettie West.

O’Neil , Ona “Jeri”

O’Neil , Ona “Jeri” 78, of Louisville, and was a native of Morgantown Kentucky died Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Baptist East Hospital. She was  deeply committed to her family’s special needs and she was a remarkable cook.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, John Mitchell O’Neil Sr. ,  son, Joseph D. Kimpflein and a grandson, Thomas L. Dennison.

Robert W. Dockery

Robert W. Dockery, 88 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Thursday September 4, 2014 at the Beaver Dam Nursing Home and Rehab. The Butler County native, was born Monday June 14, 1926 to the late Herman and Minnie Kowen Dockery. He was a member of Barnetts Lick Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Anderson Wood Products in Louisville, Ky. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Ethel Embry Dockery, two step sons Stevie and Tommy Dockery, one granddaughter Sandra Frank, six brothers and two sisters.
