Jaclyn Sierra Daugherty, 17 of Morgantown, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at her  residence. The Butler County native was born May 26, 1995. She was a member of Pathway Baptist Church and a student at Butler County High School.  She loved to read, listen to music, play softball, and spend time with her friends. 

Ella Mae Drake Snodgrass, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 at Kindred at Jewish Hospital. She was a member of Southwest Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Snodgrass; son Terry Drake; daughter Vanessa Drake; great grandson Austyn Ross; brother Billy J. Snodgrass.

Trudy Alma Black, 80 of Morgantown, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 at the Owensboro Medical Health System in Owensboro. Trudy was born September 7, 1931 in Coleman, Florida to the late Henry Turner Peterson and Trudie Zipperer Peterson. She was a homemaker and Church of Christ faith. Trudy was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 1 sister.

Aaron Matthew Johnson, 36, of Morgantown, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at his residence. Matthew was born October 3, 1975, in Barren County, Kentucky. 

Mary Rose Mudd, 75, of Powderly, KY passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at the Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville, KY. 

She was born on August 4, 1936 in Grayson County, the daughter of Alva and Emily Young. She was a housewife and mother of four children.

William “Dale” Knight, 83, of Brownsville, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at his residence. 

He was born on January 31, 1929 in Edmonson County, the son of William Andrew and Edith Knight. He was a farmer and a member of the Reedyville Masonic Lodge #438. He was also a member of Caney Creek United Baptist Church. 

Ronnie Eugene Embry Sr., 56 of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. Ronnie was born November 14, 1955 in Edmonson County, Kentucky to the late Eugene Embry and Jonell Lindsey Johnson who survives. He was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church and worked factory work for many years. He is preceded in death by one daughter Shannon Embry; brother Ricky W. Embry; grandparents Oval and Abaline Lindsey and Critt and Eva Embry.

Faye Sorrels, 68 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Faye was born January 28, 1944, in Butler County, Ky. to the late Opal and Eva White Dockery. She was a homemaker and was of the baptist faith. She was preceded in death by one brother Helbert Dockery and one brother in- law Houston Pharris.

Darrell Duane Cook, 48, of Cromwell, died Saturday July 21, 2012 at his home.  Darrell was born in Peking, IL and was a retired timber worker.

Survivors include his wife Tennie Pendley Cook; 2 daughters-Amber McIntosh and Samara Fletcher; his father-Darrell C. Cook; a brother-Delmar Steven Cook; and a sister-Denise Johnson; 2 grandchildren.

Ella Edwards Brown, 70, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at the St. Mary’s and Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville, KY. 

She was born on August 20, 1941 in Grayson County, the daughter of Marvin and Verbel Renfrow Edwards. She was a Nurse’s Aide. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Louisville.
