Jerry J. Hatcher,72, of Morgantown, Ky, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.. Jerry was born May 18, 1942 in Butler County, Ky. to the late Jewel and Catherine House Hatcher. He was the owner of Hatcher's Sanitation and was a member of Wilson United Baptist Church in Caneyville, Ky.. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Donald Hatcher and David Hatcher, and one grandson, Austin Ryan Hope.
Jerry J. Hatcher is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara Keown Hatcher of Morgantown, Ky. two daughters; Rhonda Henderson, husband Kennie, of Morgantown, Ky. and Janine Dockery, husband Mark, of Morgantown, Ky., three sons; Lindle Keown, wife Noreta, of Morgantown, Ky, Denzil Hope of Morgantown, Ky. and Brian Hope, wife Angie, of Morgantown, Ky,. one sister, Connie Embry, husband Cotton, of Morgantown, Ky., two brothers; Charles Hatcher, wife Earline, of Morgantown, Ky. and Darrel Hatcher, wife Juanita, of Morgantown, Ky. three half sisters; Gilda Lee, of Morgantown, Ky, Janice VanZant, of Elizabethtown, Ky. and Cassie Oaks, of Morgantown, Ky,. two half brothers; Craig Hatcher, of Morgantown Ky. and Keith Hatcher, of Morgantown, Ky., 10 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 12:00pm at Wilson United Baptist Church with Bro. David Woosley and Bro. Rex Rush officiating. Burial will be held in Hill Haven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 11:00am until 8:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel and from 11:00am until funeral time at 12:00pm at the Wilson United Baptist Church in Caneyville, Ky.
