Nealie H. Smith Sr., 72, of Beaver Dam, Ky, formerly of Morgantown, Ky, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Ohio County Hospital. Nealie was born January 13, 1942 in Butler County Ky to the late Less and Beulah Fleming Smith. He was a retired logger. Nealie is preceded in death by his parents and one son, John T. Smith.
Nealie H. Smith Sr. is survived by his wife Anna Mae Phelps Smith, of Beaver Dam. Ky.; one son, Nealie H. Smith Jr. wife Jayme, of Beaver Dam, Ky.; one daughter, Angela Phelps, husband Chris, of Morgantown, Ky.; one brother, Alford Smith of Morgantown Ky; one sister, Juanita Hatcher, husband Darrell, of Morgantown,  Ky., five Grandchildren, one Great-Grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 12:00pm with Bro. Timmy Hall officiating. Burial will be held at Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, October 10, 2014 from 4:30pm until 8:00pm and Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 8:00am until funeral time at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
