Deloide C. Evans, 71 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Tuesday, November 25,2014 at his son's residence. Deloide was born November 28, 1942 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Carl and Louie Abner Evans. He was a member of New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, retired from Young's Manufacturing and loved to rabbit hunt. Deloide is preceded in death by his parents and one brother J.C. Evans.
Deloide C. Evans is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Linda Sue Evans of Morgantown, Ky.; one daughter Melissa Cook husband Steve of Morgantown, Ky.; one son Steven Evans of Morgantown, Ky.; one brother Deyoide Evans wife Novella of Morgantown, Ky.; two sisters Irene Givens and Kathleen Evans both of Morgantown, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church Saturday November 29, 2014 at 2:00pm with Bro. Mike Daugherty and Bro. David Daugherty officiating with burial in the New Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday November 28, 2014 from 3:00pm - 8:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel and Saturday November 29, 2014 from 10:00am until funeral time at 2:00pm at New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church.
