Barbara Hunt Flener, 67, of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at her residence. Barbara was born on Thursday, January 16, 1947 in Butler County, Kentucky to William Logan Hunt and the late Golda Marie Johnson Hunt. She was a member of Aberdeen Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday School and Vacation Bible School Teacher.  She was very active in many of the ministries in the church. Barbara was also a retired history teacher for the Butler County School System, a member of the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association, the Kentucky Democrat Party, and a homemaker.
Barbara Hunt Flener is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Roger Flener of Morgantown, Ky.; one daughter, Rebecca Dawn Flener Mudd and son-in-law Mark of Morgantown, Ky.; one grandson Jacob Shelburn Mudd of Morgantown, Ky.; father William Logan Hunt of Morgantown, Ky.; one brother, Robert Logan Hunt and  sister-in-law Phyllis Romans Hunt of Bowling Green, Ky.; one sister, Teresa Lynn Hunt Fentress and brother-in-law Sonny of Lawrenceburg, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Aberdeen Baptist Church on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Roger Taylor and Rev. Raymond Thomas Ward officiating.  Burial wil be in the Aberdeen Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 30, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Monday, December 1, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time at 2:00 p.m. at the Aberdeen Baptist Church.
