Linda H. Jenkins Weldon 55, of Bowling Green passed away peacefully with her family and friends at her side, Sunday, November 23, 2014 at her residence.  Linda was born April 15, 1959 in Bowling Green.  She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Jenkins.

Linda was a registered nurse who cared deeply for everyone she met.  Her favorite nursing jobs were working with psychiatric patients and with the elderly.  She graduated from Butler County High School and Western Kentucky University.  She was a member of Bowling Green Christian Church.  She loved her husband Ed, family, career and her God.

Survivors include her loving husband of 20 years, Ed Weldon; mother, Christine Jenkins of Morgantown, KY; two sisters, Mary Johnson (Mark) of Frankfort, KY, and Jane Yokell (Dan) of Franklin, TN;  one niece, Kristen Roberts (Keith) of Frankfort, KY; one nephew Eric Johnson (Victoria) of Nashville, TN; three great-nephews Brady and Andrew Roberts of Frankfort, KY and Mason Johnson of Nashville, TN;  One aunt, Jean Dwyer of Morgantown, KY; mother and father-in-law, Marie and Ed Weldon of Ocean City, NJ; sister and brother-in-law, Jay-Louise Weldon (Mike Wynne) of Montclair, NJ; two other nephews, Brian Wynne of Bronx, NY, and David Wynne (Danny) of Brooklyn, NY; several dear cousins Paul Dwyer of Bowling Green, and Patricia Saylor (L.G.) of Morgantown, KY.

Memorial service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Bowling Green Christian Church, 1912 Smallhouse Rd., Bowling Green, KY 42104.  Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday until time of service at the church. Linda chose cremation and a private burial will be in Hill Haven Memorial Gardens in her hometown Morgantown, KY.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Linda may be made to HOTEL INC., Bowling Green, KY (hotelincbg.com) or Salvation Army, Bowling Green, KY, (paradisedivision.org).  Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel.
