Bobby Taylor Shultz, 78 of Beaver Dam, passed away, Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born February 25, 1936 in Ohio County to the late Malloy and Mollie Taylor Shultz. Bobby was a graduate of Cromwell High School; he was a retired Bulldozer operator from Peabody Coal Company and was a 50 year member of the McHenry Masonic Lodge 800 F&AM. Mr. Shultz was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church in Little Bend and he attended Cool Springs Baptist Church in Beaver Dam.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Malloy and Mollie Shultz.

Lisa K. Swift, 49, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014 at the Centennial Hospital in Nashville, Tn.. Lisa was born November 24, 1964  in Warren County, to the late Amos Edward Swift Jr. and Norma Jean Johnson Swift who survives . She was a Housekeeper and a Member of Mt. Lebanon Church of Christ. Lisa loved to write poems, short stories, read her bible and sing and dance. She had a great sense of humor and was a wonderful caregiver for parents.  She was preceded in death by her father Amos E. Swift Jr., and grandmother Esther Johnson.
 

Vickie Burkhead Weber, 62 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday May 3, 2014 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Vickie was born May 13, 1951 in Jefferson County, Ky. to the late Robert and Genell Blunk Burkhead who survives. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and a retired social worker. Other than her father she is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Weber.

Carlos Hunt, 69 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Tuesday April 29, 2014 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Carlos was born July 20, 1944 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Walter and Edna Cardwell Hunt. He was a member and served as a deacon at Big Muddy Missionary Baptist Church, member of Cassia Lodge #272, member of Butler/Edmonson Gideon Camp and a brick mason and co-owner of Allied Masonry. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by one grandchild Dakota Tyree and one sister Verlon Johnson.

Ralph C. Meador, 85, of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Monday, April 28,2014 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was born August 30, 1928 in Allen Co., Ky. but lived most of his life in Butler Co. He was the son of the late Rev. L.V. and Lassie Gregory Meador, a member of Aberdeen Missionary Baptist Church, a retired diesel mechanic for Rone Trucking, and a farmer. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife of 33 years Iva Taylor Meador, one son Roger Eugene Meador and one sister Mary Annaline Dwyer.

Bonita G. Hunt, 60 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Wednesday April 23, 2014 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Bonita was born July 3, 1953 in Butler County, Kentucky to David Lee and Anna B. Howard Hunt. She was a member of Aberdeen Missionary Baptist Church and secretary for Kentucky Department of Highways.  

Brenda Lynn LeGrand Llanos, 48, of Bowling Green, Ky. passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014 at her residence. Brenda was born December 12, 1965  in Warren County, to the late  James and Louise LeGrand.  She was of the Baptist faith. Brenda was a  homemaker, loving mother, devoted sister and a wonderful person. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Sue Dolly LeGrand and brother Jackie LeGrand.

William Jackson "Jay" Woodcock, 68 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Hospice of Southern Ky Hospice Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Jay was born June 15, 1945 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Rev. Wiley B. and Ada B. Embry Woodcock. He was a member of Old Decker Free Union Baptist Church, Reedyville Masonic Lodge #432, a shriner and retired carpenter. He is preceded in death by one daughter Rhonda Deweese; one sister Ellar Phelps; two brothers Hillard Woodcock and Wiley Woodcock Jr.

Thelma Embry Meredith, 87, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, April 17th, 2014 at the Meadowview Health & Rehabilitation in Louisville. 

She was born on May 21st, 1926 in Neafus, the daughter of the late Henry and Ora (Milam) Embry. Thelma retired from King’s Daughters and Sons where she was a caregiver.   

Barbara Lynn Cox, 40 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Wednesday April 16, 2014 at the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville TN. Barbara was born February 25, 1974 in Warren County Kentucky to the late Richard D. House and Erdine Allen House who survives.She was a member of Morgantown Community Church,  a registered nurse and she is preceded in death by her father and father in law C.W. Cox.
