Darrick Wayne Cannon, 51, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at the Medical Center Hospital, Bowling Green, Ky. He was born in Warren County on January 13, 1965 to the late Jane Elms Cardwell and Gary Cannon who survives. Darrick was a member of Mt. Olivet Missionary Baptist Church and served with the Kentucky Army National Guard. He was a drywall hanger for Wilkerson Plastering - Acoustics and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his mother and sister Terrie Lynn Cannon.

He is survived by son Travis Cannon and wife Sydney of Morgantown; granddaughter Aubrey Cannon of Morgantown; wife Mary Cannon of Morgantown;father Gary Cannon of Morgantown and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home in Morgantown on Friday, September 30th at 1 pm with Bro. Raleigh Blancett officiating. Burial will follow in the Aberdeen Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 29th from 4-9pm and Friday 8am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
