Leonard G. Smith, 75, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.  He was born in Butler Co. on July 19, 1941, to the late George and Marietta Embry Smith.  He was a Minister and a member of Flatwood Church of Christ where he preached for several years. He loved to fish, and one of his greatest passions was watching his grandsons play football.   He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson Timothy Kirk Madison. 

Mr. Smith is survived by three daughters; Renee Fisher and husband Tim of Bowling Green, Tosha Mudd and husband Gordon of Caneyville, Stephanie Dunn and husband Wendell of Morgantown: three grandchildren Kyle Madison and wife Mindy of Pensacola, Fl., Kent Madison of Bowling Green and Olivia Dunn of Morgantown; four great-grandchildren Chase Madison of Bowling Green, Capri Madison of Florida, Axton Anderson of  Bowling Green, Kira Mudd of Morgantown;  four step- grandchildren, Chelsie Fisher, Shanna Fisher and Seth Fisher all of Bowling Green, Chase Mudd of Morgantown;   several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; two brothers Steven Smith of Morgantown, Danny Smith and wife Brenda of Roundhill; one half sister Georgegina Tilley of Upton, Ky.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at 11:00 am with Bro. Bobby McPherson III officiating.  Burial will follow in the Chapel Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 19 from 2-8 pm, No Visitation Friday, Saturday 8 am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown, Ky.
