Oval Mae Burden Geary, 80 of Hartford went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 12, 2016 at Morgantown Health and Rehab Center. She was born June 3, 1936 in Ohio County to the late Nathan “Nat” and Lelia Burden Moore. Mae was a member of New Assembly Church and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Geary was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband of 30 years, Bennie Frank Burden; her second husband, Aubrey Dale Geary; two brothers, Woodie T. Moore and Allison Moore; and two sisters, Christine Renfrow and Lulla Saylor.

Survivors include her son, Frankie C. (Lisa) Burden of Hartford; her brother, Jerry D. (Brenda) Moore of McHenry; and her sister, Joan Fuson of Beaver Dam. Mae was blessed with two grandchildren, Frankie Burden Jr. and Ben Burden; and four great-grandchildren, Chandler Burden, Caden Burden, Cameron Burden and Camille Burden.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 14, 2017 at New Assembly Church, 425 State Route 1543, Hartford, Kentucky with Rev. Lealin Geary officiating. Burial will follow in Render Memorial Cemetery in McHenry. Friends may visit with Mrs. Geary’s family from 10 A.M. until the time of service Saturday at New Assembly Church. William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam has been entrusted with the arrangements.
