Michael Otto Rone, 66 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Monday, November 13, 2017, at his residence. Mike was born March 15, 1951, in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Otto T. Rone and Doris E. Embry Rone who survives. He was a member of Morgantown Church of Christ, The Round Table Club at Kuntry Kitchen and the owner of Morgantown Freight Inc.

Michael Otto Rone is survived by his wife Sally Rector Rone of Morgantown, Kentucky; two daughters Alison Cardwell and husband Ernie of Morgantown, Kentucky and Alana Wade and husband Alan of Shelbyville, Kentucky; one son Adam Rone of Louisville, Kentucky; mother Doris E. Rone of Bowling Green, Kentucky; one sister Rebecca Minton and husband David of Morgantown, Kentucky; one brother James Matthew Rone of Bowling Green, Kentucky; four granddaughters Caitlynn Farough of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Alexas Cardwell of Morgantown, Kentucky, Brittany Cardwell of Morgantown, Kentucky and Anna Wade of Shelbyville, Kentucky; two grandsons Dalton Edmonds of Morgantown, Kentucky and Aidan Wade of Shelbyville, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Thursday, November 16, 2017, at 1:00 pm with Bro. Roger Taylor officiating.

Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery with Dan Heile, Mike Mitchell, Walton Neighbors, Phillip Huddleston, Ray Rector and Robert Throneberry serving as pallbearers

. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, from 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Thursday 8:00 am until funeral time at 1:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
