Wavie M. Fishburn, 97, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on August 30, 1920 to the late Isom and Corda Ann Henderson, Ms. Fishburn was a Homemaker and Seamstress. She loved to sew, quilt and cook. Ms. Fishburn was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church for more than 80 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arnel Fishburn, three brothers Orville, Justus and George Henderson; two sisters Goren Phelps and Norma Young.

Ms. Fishburn is survived by one daughter Sharon Lindsey and husband Doug of Morgantown; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017 at 2 pm with Bro. David Youngblood officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Muddy Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, Nov.17, 2017 from 5-8pm and Saturday 8am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown, Ky.
