Evaline Page Deel, 88, of Louisville, Ky. passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, April 2, 2018, at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Ky. She was born in Sugar Grove, Ky. on August 20, 1929, to the late William and Glennie Tanner Page.  She was a devoted homemaker, mother, and grandmother, member of Liberty Temple Church and retired from the Galt House Hotel after 20 plus years. She enjoyed cooking and cleaning. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Wade Deel; one son Gerry Deel Sr.; and one grandson Jeremy Geary.
 
Evaline is survived by her daughter Carolyn Geary (Dennis); sons Roger Deel (Kim) and Stevie Deel (Dehily) all of Louisville, Ky; grandchildren Gerry Deel Jr., Jason Geary Sr. (Amanda), Fred Koufeldt (Chrissie), Robert Seacy, Lisa Gann (Mark), Daniel Deel, Lindsey Deel and Erick Deel all of Louisville, Ky.;17 great-grandchildren,  5 great-great grandchildren and one on the way in July; one sister Sylvia White of Avon, In.; daughter-in-law Rose Ann Maupin (Joe); sister-in-law Jean Dumond (Dick); Evaline was a second mom to Glenda Gill and Brenda Haley but loved all of her special nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at 2 pm with Rev. Phillip Polson officiating.  Burial will be in the Tuck Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 4  from 2-8pm and on Thursday from 8 am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
