Maudry Lucille Abbott McCoy, 89, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at her son’s residence. She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on October 5, 1928, to the late Harry Abbott and Della Wester Abbott.  She was a homemaker and a  member of Union Baptist Church. Maudry loved being around her family.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband William P. McCoy; sister Esther Reneer; brothers Lester, Bubby, Sydney and William O. Abbott.           

Maudry is survived by her son William McCoy & wife Debbie of Morgantown;  grandchildren Julie Meador of Morgantown;  Jon McCoy of Franklin, Tn.; great-grandchildren  Meagan Asberry of Echols, Ky., Caleb Beasley of Morgantown; great-great-grandson Zane Robert Asberry of Echols, Ky; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at 11 am with Bro. Don Rogers officiating.  Burial will be in the Union Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday, April 6  from 3-8pm and Saturday from 8 am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown, Ky.
