Darrell L. Johnson, 61 of New Albany, Indiana passed away Friday, April 27, 2018, at the Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. Darrell was born October 6, 1956, in Roundhill, Kentucky to the late Tower and Nellie Farris Johnson. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by five brothers Bill, Jim, Genie, Ben and Shurman Johnson and two sisters Myrtle and Rosilee Johnson.

Darrell L. Johnson is survived by four daughters Andrea Johnson of New Albany, Indiana, Michella Copeland (fiancée Neville Love) of Sellersburg, Indiana, Jessica Smith of Kentucky and Stephanie Jeffries of Louisville, Kentucky; three sons Ryan Johnson (Mary Beth) of Lexington South Carolina, Joseph Johnson (Amanda) of Kentucky and Michael Preston of West Columbia, South Carolina; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sister Sis, Rachel, Gracie and Opal Johnson; one brother LeRoy Johnson and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at the Threlkel Cemetery Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at 1:00 pm with burial following the services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Chapel.
