Alvin P. "Tit" Jones, 89 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Alvin was born September 7, 1928, in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Herbert and Mary Izzy House Jones and husband of the late Novis Meredith Jones. He attended Temple View General Baptist Church and was a retired coal miner. Other than his parents and wife he is preceded in death by five sisters Altie White, Gladys Neighbors, Mary Neighbors, Tinsie White and Delilah Renfrow and six brothers Newt, Clifford, Chester, Pete, Lylas and Joe Jones.

Alvin P. "Tit" Jones is survived by one daughter Rita Jones Gordon and husband Don of Morgantown, KY; one son Alvin Wayne Jones and wife Phyllis of Morgantown, KY; two grandsons Brandon Jones and wife Christina of Morgantown, KY and Bradley Jones of Cottontown, TN; one sister Margie Romans of Morgantown, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday, April 27, 2018, at 1:00 pm with Bro. David Youngblood and Bro. Frankie Skipworth officiating. Burial will be in the Cool Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018, from 9:30 am until funeral time at 1:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
