Mark Grady Proctor, 46 of Quality, Ky. passed Saturday, August 27, 2016, at the Franklin - Simpson Nursing & Rehab Center in Franklin, Ky. Mark was born November 7, 1969, in Muhlenberg County Kentucky to the late Royce Grady Proctor and Margaret Morgan Engler who survives. He worked in construction doing drywall work for many years.

Danny T. Cook, 64, of Morgantown, Ky, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Danny was born January 29, 1952, in Montgomery, AL to the late William L. "Bill" Cook and Mary Meador Cook who survives. He was retired as the county surveyor for Butler County.
Danny T. Cook is survived by his mother, Mary Meador Cook, of Morgantown, Ky, one brother, David Cook, of Morgantown, Ky, one niece, Jayme Cook McWhorter, husband Nick, of Bowling Green, Ky, and one great niece, Meredith Jaymes McWhorter, of Bowling Green, Ky.

Freddie Gene Parrish, 65 of Roundhill, Ky passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at his daughter's residence in Bowling Green, Ky. Freddie was born June 22, 1951, in Butler County Kentucky to the late James Herbert and Mary Lou Johnson Parrish. He was a member of Aberdeen Missionary Baptist Church, retired from Southern States and a farmer. Freddie was the unofficial mayor of Roundhill, Ky, a proud Democrat, loved Chevrolets, had an outgoing personality and loved to joke. He was a gentle Giant.

Maxine M. Duncan Givens, 88,  of Louisville, Ky. Loving Mother and friend to all her children, Grandchildren, and friends passed from this life on August 21, 2016, to be with her Heavenly Father.
She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Louisville, KY. Born February 14, 1928, to Veachel and Vadie Elizabeth Duncan in Butler Co, KY. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Forrest O. Givens; brother, Darrel Duncan; sister, Waneda Hunter.

Lillie Mae McKinney, age 103, of  Morgantown,  departed this life on Friday, August 19, 2016, at Morgantown Care and Rehab.   She was born in Butler Co. on December 1, 1912, to the late Ottis Givens and Clara Bowers Givens Brown. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church and had a love for quilting. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack McKinney, son Don McKinney, brothers Marvin and Ivan Glendell Givens and sister Exie Andrews.

Hugh Wallace Joiner Sr. "Wally" 78 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Friday August 19, 2016 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Wally was born on Tuesday June 21, 1938 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Reathel Joiner and Geneva Hudson Anderson. He was a member of IBEW Local 369 and a retired farmer and electrician. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his step father Fred Anderson and two half brothers Marty Anderson and Jimmy Joiner.

George Gregory Seelig, 62, of Beaver Dam died Saturday August 13, 2016 at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Greg was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late George and Zella Gregory Seelig.

Greg  graduated  from the University of Louisville School of Law and practiced law in Western and Central Kentucky.  He was President of Missions of Love, a medical mission in Jolivert, Haiti and he was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church where he taught a men’s class.

Erdest C. Evans, 86, of Morgantown left this world on Monday, August 15, 2016 on his farm where he was raised and loved so much.  He was born in Butler Co. on April 2, 1930 to the late Closter and Ollie Kessinger Evans. Husband of the late Bessie Moore Evans. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, retired from Delta Faucet in Morgantown. Erdest loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter Carolyn Renee Evans, brother Troy Evans and sister Marietta Blacklock. 

Maddox Lynn Henderson of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday August 13, 2016 at the Owensboro Medical Health System.
Maddox Lynn Henderson is survived by his mother Asha Henderson of Morgantown, Ky.; maternal grandparents Michelle and Patrick Cobb of Morgantown, Ky. and Jarrod and Scarlett of Beechmont, Ky.; two uncles Jackson Cobb and Taylor Cobb; three aunts Briana Bolton, Sophie Henderson and Sharlee Henderson; maternal great grandmother Diane Hudnall and maternal great grandfathers Joe Hudnall and Harold Wester.

Robert E. Stahl, Sr. 86, of  Morgantown, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Greenwood Nursing and Rehab in Bowling Green, Ky. He was born in Todd Co., Ky. on March 31, 1930 to the late Joe Stahl and Clemmie Belcher.  He served in the Army during the Korean War and worked in Indianapolis for many years.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Shirley Stahl and 4 brothers.
