Wilsie Spencer, 93 of Cromwell, Kentucky went to his heavenly home on Monday July 1, 2019. He was born in Cromwell, Kentucky on August 20, 1925 to Marion and Zeecy Taylor Spencer. Wilsie attended Cromwell High School and was drafted during his senior year into the United States Navy for service during World War II.  He served from 1943 – 1946 on the USS-LST-684, which was assigned to the Asiatic-Pacific Theater.

James Wallace Embry, 75, of Morgantown, Ky.  passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green.  He was born in Champagne, Ill. on June 21, 1944 to the late Walton James and Bernice Louise Joiner Embry. James was a carpenter who loved to fish, drink coffee and watch traffic.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Loretta Embry; grandson Jayden Hawkins; friend Johnny Shepherd.

Earlene E. Sharer Dixon, 99, of Bowling Green passed away June 29, 2019 at Colonial Center.

Ronda "Ronnie" L. Geary, 78 of Morgantown, KY passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the Ohio County Healthcare in Hartford, KY. Ronnie was born on Saturday August 3, 1940 in Ohio County, KY to the late Robert W. and Sally A. Evans Geary and husband of the late Wilda Elaine Geary. He was a member of Zion Harmony General Baptist Church, Free Will Association and a Kentucky Colonel. Ronnie was a retired electrician and always a Baptist Minister.

Attycus Layne Wilson infant daughter of Dustin and Sarah Wilson, passed away June 27, 2019 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Attycus Layne Wilson is also survived by her parents Dustin and Sarah Wilson of Provo, KY; one sister Jessalyn Johnson of Provo, KY; grandparents Tony & Theresa Wilson of Provo, KY, Johnny & Freda Hines of Auburn, KY and Leroy and Paula Hunsinger of South Carolina; uncles Josh & Kayla Hines of South Carolina and Kevin Wilson of Provo, KY; aunt Ashley and Adam George of Russellville, KY and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Stella Faye Douglas, 85, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away June 26, 2019 at Beaver Dam Nursing & Rehab. She was born August 24, 1933 in Ohio County, Kentucky to the late Jessie James “Jimmy” Snodgrass and Olivia Jones Snodgrass. Mrs. Douglas was a retired lunchroom cook where she worked for Ohio County and Daviess County Schools.

JoAnn Wilson, 70 of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away Tuesday June 25, 2019 at the Owensboro Center. JoAnn was born on Saturday March 12, 1949 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Roy E. and Lora B. Kessinger Snodgrass and wife of the late Oscar "Sunny" Wilson. She was a member and past secretary and treasurer of Wilson Home General Baptist Church and graduated from Draughons Junior College at age 50. JoAnn enjoyed attending and being involved in all church activities.

Darlene June Arnold, age 80, of Bowling Green, departed this life Monday, June 17, 2019 at Hospice in Bowling Green to go and be with our Lord Jesus Christ. She was born July 5, 1938 to the late Ellis and Addie Cook in Butler County, Kentucky.
Darlene loved her family. She loved going to church and meeting new friends. She had a passion for sending and receiving occasional and greeting cards. Darlene had a close bond with her daughter, Vickie as they were in contact with each other daily.

John Henry Tharp, 83, passed away on Friday June 14th, 2019. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cleveland Funeral Home, Watertown.
John was born in Detroit, MI on March 17th, 1936 to the late James and Eleanor (Hymes) Tharp.
John attended the local schools before joining the United States Navy in 1954. During his time in the Navy, he worked as a naval photographer, and photography instructor. John spent time at various stations including Pearl Harbor, HI, Whidbey Island, WA, Oklahoma, and Tennessee. John’s service in the Navy ended in 1973.
