Andres Isai Gomez-Gomez, 2 years old, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Grayson, Co., Ky. He was born in Warren Co. on July 24, 2016 to Mateo Gomez Mednoza and Ada Magdalena Gomez Garcia. He was preceded in death by grandfather Felipe Gomez Pascual.

Andres is survived by his parents Mateo Gomez Mednoza and Ada Magdalena Gomez Garcia of Morgantown; brother Daniel Velasquez of Morgantown; grandmothers Magdalena Garcia Pascual of Guatemala and Juana Mendoza Alonz of Guatemala; Grandfather Andres Gomez Mateo of Morgantown

Gladys Marie Johnson, 89, of Morgantown, KY, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at her residence in Morgantown. She was born in Mahoney County, Illinois on August 9, 1929 to the late Jerry Robertson and Jewell Gillon Robertson. She attended the First Apostolic Church, was a homemaker and worked in a canning factory. For several years she, her husband and son worked for the city sweeping the streets. She liked to watch her stories, shop and loved visits from her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Joyce Wayne Kirby, 77 of Morgantown, KY passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Joyce Wayne was born Tuesday November 4, 1941 in Butler County, KY to the late J.W. and Gertie White Kirby. He was a member of Huntsville Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Delta Faucet Co.. Joyce Wayne enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. He loved spending time with his family, friends and especially his grandchildren. Other than his parents he is preceded in death one brother Dean Kirby.

She was born in Butler County on July 4, 1926 to the late Levi Solomon Proctor, Sr. and Hattie Belle Webster Proctor. She was of the Apostolic faith and was a homemaker. She loved to garden, fish, crochet and quilt.

Kathleen Embry Warren, 92, formerly of Beaver Dam, KY passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Wellington Parc Nursing Home in Owensboro, KY.  She was born in Grancer in Butler County on September 26, 1926 to the late Purtle Embry and Lena Jones Embry. Kathleen was a Christian of the Churches of Christ faith and a homemaker. She loved genealogy, camping, cooking, sewing and playing Scrabble.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Glen, three brothers, Jim, Bert and Lionell Embry, and one sister, Jewel Gardner.

Linda Jean Gray, 58 of Morgantown, KY passed away Thursday June 13, 2019 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. Linda was born February 3, 1961 in Bowling Green, KY to the late Jefferson Gray and Alma Russ Keown who survives. She loved playing bingo at Morgantown Care & Rehab. Other than her father she is preceded in death by her step father Volley Doris Keown, one niece Alayna Maurine Porter and several aunts and uncles.

Odessa E. Belcher, 84 of Morgantown, KY passed away Wednesday June 12, 2019 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Odessa was born Wednesday June 5, 1935 in Auburn, Kentucky to the late Joseph and Lennie Tatum Estes. She was the oldest member of Sugar Grove Methodist Church, past member of Midway Homemakers and a retired Morgantown Elementary cook after 25 years. Odessa loved her flowers and watching and feeding the hummingbirds.

Daniel Leroy Saunders, 72, of Greenville, Ky. passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was born in Louisville, Ky. on Nov. 28, 1946 to the late Calbert and Moreen Coots Saunders. Daniel was a Baptist preacher for 25 years and a truck driver. He loved to golf and go camping. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers Tommy, Jimmy and Bobby Saunders and sister Sandy Colter.
