Richard Neil Cardwell, 63, of Raleigh, NC passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019 at WakeMed Decedent Care in North Carolina. He was born on Nov. 3, 1955 to the late Kenneth and Exie McKinney Cardwell.  Richard worked at Young’s Auto Parts and was of the Baptist faith.  He served in the United States Army.   He enjoyed being a mechanic, riding motorcycles and racing cars.  He was a simple man that loved his family.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Kenneth Eddie and Ernest Cardwell; sisters Wilma Burns and Anna Mae Annis.

Ruby "Annie" Hunt, 51 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Tuesday May 7, 2019 at her residence. Annie was born May 14, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Randall Gene  & Shelby Gregory Benson who survives. She was a member of Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Annie loved her pets and was a homemaker. Other than her father she is preceded in death by one sister Teresa Simms and one sister in law Trish Knight.

Linda “Jeanie” Reagan Hines, age 74, died Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Jeanie was born July 25, 1944 to the late Ivo and Thelma Reagan. Jeanie was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend, colleague, and teacher, but her most favorite was Nana. Jeanie had the honor to teach school for over 35 years, with the majority of those years being taught in Ohio County. She had a love for reading and will always be known for her amazing ability to teach anyone to read.

Dallas Wayne Austin, 26, of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Norton’s Hospital in Louisville. He was born November 25, 1992 in Hartford to Bill W. Austin and Melissa Denise Combs Klett. Dallas worked in construction. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ellis and Mary Nixon.

Jimmy C. Dockery, 71 of the Oak Ridge community in Butler County, KY passed away Saturday, morning May 4, 2019 at his residence. Jimmy was born January 23, 1948 in Butler County, KY to the late Squire Bamis and Goldie B. Beasley Dockery. He was the oldest son of 8 children. He attended Zion Harmony General Baptist Church his entire life and was very strong in his faith. Jimmy enjoyed reading his Bible and hearing his grandchildren sing in church. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing with his grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Gloria Gail Vanderver 70, of Morgantown, formerly of Sacramento, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 3, 2019 at TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.  Gloria Gail Southard was born in Muhlenberg County to the late Robert and Mavis Imogene Jenkins Southard on March 31, 1949 and formerly worked at Sumitomo Electric Wiring System in Morgantown.  She was a member of Rochester Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed reading and feeding birds in her yard.  In addition to her parents Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Edsel Bruce Vanderver on April 5, 2004.

Dwight Shane Embry, 42, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Friday, May 3, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Warren Co., Ky. on August 18, 1976 to the late Ted Shepherd and Sandra Embry Lee who survives.  Shane loved to hunt and fish with his friends, Lee Deweese and Scott Park.  He was preceded in death by his father; son Christopher Dylan Meredith; maternal grandmother Midge Shepherd, paternal grandmother Pearl Mitchell and cousin Nick Shepherd.

John Wayne Iler, 67, went to be with the Lord Thursday, May 02, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born March 19, 1952 in Ohio County, Kentucky to Eula Richardson Iler and the late Herman C. Iler. Mr. Iler retired from Peabody Coal Company and was a farmer. He was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and a United States Army veteran. Mr. Iler was preceded in death by his father.

Debra Dawn Smith, 55, of Bowling Green, Ky. passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green.  She was born in San Bernardino,  California on May 5, 1963 to the late John Smith and Helen Johnson Smith who survives.  Debra was a member of Christian Life Center and loved Jesus Christ. Debra was preceded in death by father, and sister Joyce Smith.

Craig Allen Davis, 46, of Rumsey, Kentucky passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born June 11, 1972 in Cedar Lake, Indiana to the late Carrol Davis and Sandra Jean Price Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents.
