Deanna “Dee Dee” (Spiekhout) Daugherty, age 65, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 17, 2026.  Deanna, affectionately known as “Dee Dee,” was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend. Her love for her family was the center of her life, and she found her greatest joy in time spent with her children and grandchildren.  She was a former Wal-Mart employee and a Disc Jockey for a local bar.  Deanna will be remembered for her caring heart, her strength, and her unwavering love for her family.

Janice Laverne Shields Cook, age 76, of Morgantown, KY went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026 at her residence.  Janice was born in Brownsville, KY on Apr. 14, 1949.  She was a former school bus driver and grill cook at the Farmboy Restaurant.  Janice enjoyed thrifting at antique shops.  She was preceded in death by her parents Mancel and Virginia Cummings Shields; son Timothy Coy; sister Helen Embry; brothers Phillip Shields and Stephen Shields.

Nathan Woolen, 43, of Centertown, Kentucky, passed away on January 11, 2026, at his home.

Daniel W. Pedigo, age 65, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2026 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.  He was born in Bowling Green, KY on Sept. 3, 1960.  He was a self-employed auto electrician and enjoyed collecting toy cars.    He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Kathryn Huffin Pedigo; sisters Joyce Wisdom and Mickey Gilliam.

Connie Denise Hunt, age 44 of Aberdeen, KY, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Born on September 17, 1981, in Houston, Texas, Connie's creative flair and love for nature were evident from a young age.

Charles B. Kessinger, affectionately known as Charlie to his friends and loved ones, entered into eternal rest on January 9, 2026, in Bloomington, Indiana, at the age of 89. Born on May 5, 1936, in Morgantown, Kentucky, to the late Hershel and Edythe Kessinger, nee Dockery, Charlie was a beacon of warmth and generosity throughout his life.

Emogene Jones age 85 of Morgantown, KY passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by her family, born on August 31, 1940, she lived with remarkable strength and an even greater heart. She raised her children with determination, tenderness, and unwavering devotion, always making sure they knew they were loved beyond measure. Her children were the center of her world, and being their mother was the greatest role of her life.

Dorothy Ann Cox Brooks, a beacon of love and faith, passed away peacefully at her residence in Morgantown, Kentucky, on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at the age of 94. Sarah Ruth Phelps, age 73, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.  Sarah was born in Bull Creek, KY on Apr. 28, 1952.  She retired from Fruit of the Loom, where she worked for over 20 years.  She liked creating animals with pottery and gardening.   She was preceded in death by her parents Elvis and Pansy Brooks Phelps; sister Agathalene Renfrow and an infant brother.
