Milford Johnson, 90, of Morgantown, passed away January 28th, 2026 at Ohio County Hospital. He was born on February 2, 1935 in Ohio County to the late Homer Johnson and Arizina Embry Johnson.

Milford enjoyed fox hunting, gardening, and bluegrass music. He was a member of Beaver Dam Church of Christ.

Born in Butler County to the late William O. and Margaret Gary, Nancy worked for GE and Capital Holding. She was also a member of Southend Church of Christ.

Nancy was a woman who knew how to savor life’s simple pleasures and share joy with the people around her. She had a gift for conversation and could spend hours on the phone with friends and family, laughing, listening, and staying deeply connected to those she loved.

Billy Randall Smith, age 76, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.  He was born in Brooklyn, KY on June 10, 1949.  He was a truck driver and a mechanic.  Billy enjoyed riding and breaking horses and spending time with his family.  He was preceded in death by his parents Roy Monroe Smith and Geneva Renfrow; son Scott Smith; brothers Charles Smith and Darrell Blunk.

Jernigan, age 70, of Cromwell, KY passed away on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026 at his residence.  He was born in Greenville, KY on Aug. 15, 1955.  He was a truck driver.  He was preceded in death by his parents Edward Jr. and Wiladean Webb Jernigan; wife Gloria Jernigan and brother Donnie Jernigan.

Myrl Pendley Burden MacDonald

Myrl Pendley Burden MacDonald, age 83, of Morgantown, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Myrl was born on June 28, 1942 to the union of the late Alvin Pendley and Lorene Grubb Pendley. Myrl worked at both Kanes and Kellwood in Morgantown. She was a charter member of the VFW Auxiliary 5837 and became a Life Member in June of 1993. Myrl was Dept. Asst. Conductor for many years and held the District 5 President position of the Auxiliary 5837 Post.
