Aubrey Wayne Russ, age 52, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Monday, Nov. 17, 2025 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green.   He was born in Bowling Green on Nov. 6, 1974.  He was a member of  Brooklyn Independent Baptist Church were his served as a deacon and later became an ordained minister.

Irene Gray Evans Givens

Irene Gray Evans Givens, age 86, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025 at her residence.  She was born in Flenerville, KY on June 7, 1939.  Irene was a member of Carve Rock Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Louie Abner Evans.

Irene is survived by her husband, Dodson Givens; daughter Karen Givens; grandsons Kyle and Caleb Givens.

A Private Service was held.  Burial was at Carve Rock Cemetery.  Smith Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Darrell E. Napier

Darrell E. Napier, age 68, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.  He was born in Frankfort, Germany on Jan. 6, 1957.  He was a member of New Home General Baptist Church and was a master carpenter and house builder.  He enjoyed cooking and carpentry.  He was preceded in death by his daughter Amanda Lynn Napier Holtz; parents Eugene and Ruth Ann Webster Napier and brother Steven Ray Hunt.

Darrel Mayhugh Daugherty

Darrel Mayhugh Daugherty was born on March 13, 1941, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to Wesley William and Violet Virginia Geary Daugherty.

A proud veteran, Darrel served his country with honor and dedication - first as a United States Marine during the Vietnam era, and later retiring from the United States Army Reserve. His commitment to faith, service, and family carried him through a life rich with experience, travel, and steadfast love.

Michael Philip Elmore

Michael Philip Elmore, age 73, of Morgantown, KY, passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family on November 7, 2025. Born on April 23, 1952, in Louisville, Kentucky, and raised in Roundhill Kentucky,  Mike led a life marked by adventure, humor, and thoughtfulness that deeply touched all who knew him.

Mike was a former teamster and factory worker. He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, the music of Arlo Guthrie and Goose Creek Symphony, and most importantly, the company of his family.

James Hall (Joe B.)

James Hall (Joe B.), 70, of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025.

Born on March 30, 1955, James devoted his life to serving others — through his work, his church, and his community. He retired from the Boilermakers Union, Local 40, where he built a respected career and lifelong friendships. His faith was central to who he was. James served as a deacon at Cedar Grove Church and ministered at Green River Correctional Facility, sharing hope and the love of Christ with those often forgotten.
