Albin Johnson, age 74 of Morgantown, KY passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY. Albin was born on Thursday, November 11, 1948 in Bee Springs, KY to the union of the late Everett and Mable Pate Johnson. He was a member of the American Legion and he attended Carve Rock Baptist Church. Albin was a retired drywall finisher, who enjoyed reading and watching wrestling. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one grandson Terry Bradshaw. 

Christopher “CJ” James Neighbors, age 36, of Elkton, Ky. passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at his residence.  He was born in Bowling Green, Ky.

Joyce McKinney Taylor, 82 of Morgantown, KY passed away Saturday November 21, 2020 at her residence. She was born July 30, 1938 in the Quality Community of  Butler County, KY to the late Rollie McKinney and Nellie Ann Proctor Osborne. Joyce was a member of Mt Vernon Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed square dancing and crocheting.  Joyce was retired from the Butler County Library, she was the operator and driver for the Book Mobile delivering books to homes in Butler County for many years.

Tonita Monita Embry, age 94 of Morgantown, KY passed away Thursday, July 6, 2023 at the Bowling Green Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Tonita was born on Friday, September 28, 1928 in Grayson County, KY to the union of the late Ray and Elfie Bratcher Cooper and wife of the late Laymon Embry. She was a member of Chapel Union Missionary Baptist Church and Eastern Star. Tonita enjoyed quilting, crocheting, flowers and word search puzzles. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one daughter Gale Layton; two brothers Ray Cooper Jr.

Joline Sue Gipson, age 58 of San Antonio, Texas passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Joline was born on Sunday, August 23, 1964 in Bowling Green, KY to the union of the late Wilbur Gipson and Earline Miller Gipson. She was a member of the Salvation Army, Easter Seals and a graduate of Churchill Park School in Louisville, KY. Joline won multiple awards, metals and trophies competing in the Special Olympics, specializing in swimming and diving. She also enjoyed  cooking, dancing, music  and her family and friends.

Kathleen Baize Smith, 77, of Baizetown, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023, at her home with her family by her side.

Betty Lois Wester Peay age 95 of Morgantown, KY passed away on the 6th day July 2023 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab. Lois was born on the 15th day of July 1927 in Rochester, KY to the union of the late Floyd and Lida Brown Wester. Lois was a member of New Midway Missionary Baptist Church and loved spending time with her family, sewing, and KY Wildcat Basketball.

Jonathan Earl "John" Henderson, age 58 of Horse Branch, KY passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his family. John was born on Tuesday, September 10, 1964 in Louisville, KY to the union of late O C and Hazel Garner Henderson. John was a member and faithful Christian that attended East Fairview General Baptist Church and a member of the Carpenters Union. He enjoyed mowing, working, fishing and playing cards. John loved vacationing, eating out with his family and Louisville Basketball.

Evelyn "Evie" Jewel Johnson, age 12 of Morgantown, KY passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023 in Butler County, KY. Evie was born on Friday, February 11, 2011 in Bowling Green, KY to her loving parents Michael Ray Johnson and Mareesa Hunt Fulkerson.  A lively, outgoing young lady who would light up a room.  Evie was a honor student at Butler County Middle School where she had just completed her 6th grade year. She was a active member of the volleyball, soccer, academic team, gifted and talented and a middle school cheerleader.

Christopher Gerald Fulkerson, age 49 of Morgantown, KY passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023 in Butler County, KY . Christopher was born on Friday, March 22, 1974 in Logan County, KY to Gerald and Sharon Lynn Whitaker Fulkerson. He was a member of Pleasant Union Church in Lewisburg, KY and attended CrossWins Church in Franklin, KY. Christopher enjoyed farming, wood working, traveling and helping those in need. He is preceded in death by his step daughter Elevlyn Jewel "Evie" Johnson.
